The Dinette is aft of the helm and is easily within conversation range. For lounging or alfresco dining, this area provides comfortable seating around a teak table mounted on adjustable stainless pedestals. Further aft, an 800 lb. hydraulic crane stands ready to launch and retrieve an inflatable tender.

Good morning everyone.
I hope you all had a great weekend. I really appreciate these two day breaks once a week as it reminds me that I do in fact have a life away from this computer.
Today Spain is expected to formally ask for a bailout for its banks. Now that the ECB has significantly relaxed the collateral rules, Spain will be able to recap its banks with a smaller bail out. It's good for perception as the number now comes in under the €100 Billion offered up by the EU, but in reality, the problem is still the same in terms of capital shortfalls according to the previous collateral rules. Basically the cracks have been papered over... as usual,,, and contrary to statements made by EU leaders several times over the last few months. I don't remember the exact words, but it was something to the effect of ~Europe's problems need a real viable solution and we must not paper over the cracks~ Hypocrites!!!
Later this week (Thursday 28th June), we have the EU economic summit where leaders are supposed to be discussing "The four pillars of Stability". Unfortunately it doesn't matter how many pillars you have. If they are built on a foundation of quicksand, they're not much good, are they? I have a feeling the financial markets are in for yet another disappointment. Mind you, that's good for Euro-Bears like me
Today is a very slow day on the econ data release calendar. At 14:00 GMT we get the US New Home Sales data. That's it. So I suspect that other than the impact of a Spanish bailout request, it's gonna be a quiet day.
Technically we are stuck in a range which will be hard to break without significant sentiment either way. This range is clearly defined by strong support at 1.2500/20 and strong resistance at 1.2600/20
I suppose playing the range may be a good idea if you're a scalper or day trader. However, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

One thing I neglected to mention in my morning update was the fact that we still need to finish the double top neckline break pattern. The target for that is 1.2385 area. So far sentiment looks negative but as you can see the the Order Board, there is lots of buying interest at 1.2500
Even though sentiment is negative, the 2500 support will still offer up a good challenge to bears.
