I have seen real profiles turnIng small amount into really big Ones,mainly are scalper account .no offense ,one is famous lukapat from Malaysia , the other one is capitaled a very good ea writer with an avg 46 s per trade. These legends are not in ff . If anyone is interested I can show you their account . It's very dependable on whether one is doing forex full time or for investment , the goals and period matters. If you have a full time job and don't have that much time to follow the currency sentiment, then small % risk and gain is suitable . If you are a full time trader then it have to depend on the account size as well . Comparing one investing 100 to one investing 100000 . The goals in % gain and risk in % loss varies . If one have 1000 account and grow 20% per month that's easy target compared to 100000 grow 20000 . Though may use same trading concept but the psychology is a lot different . It's very dependable . Fast gain is also fast loss. So a trader must follow his own system and plans with discipline. Losses are part of the game.

There is nothing about the rally from 12287 to suggest that the larger trend has turned up. The overlapping advance is the model of a correction. A test of the low may not be in the works next week but expect July fireworks.

Joel – While our overall outlook remains grossly bearish, from here we still see room for short-term upside before a fresh lower top is sought out. Despite the latest pullback, the market still looks constructive in the short-term while above 1.2440. A closer look at the weekly chart still shows the pair putting in yet another weekly higher high and higher low. Nevertheless, a break back above 1.2750 will now be required to accelerate gains. Below 1.2440 negates.

PT sent me a template and some indicators on thursday. Now the template works fine, i was able to upload it but the indicators always come up in the MT4 errors box.
Can someone help me fix it?

1) Where have you copied PTs indicators? Those should be for example in D:\Program Files\OANDA - MetaTrader\experts\indicators

2) What does the error statement say?

Edit: Btw, I aint MT4 expert, PT is. I use it for quite some time though.

maybe because its just template , and inside that template.. it has custom indicators that ur MT4 didnt have , so it comes out error (what i know template is just like 'frame' , u dont have part of that 'frame' u cant make it happen)

edit2: ur broker use 4 digit or 5 digit? , and the indicators for 4 digit or 5 digit?

That is not error statement but mql code of PTs MACD indicator. You have just opened indicator from Metaquotes and didnt run him.

If you want to add custom indicator in your metatrader, you need to take file (for example PTsMACD.mq4) and copy it into directory where you have installed MT4 (for example c:\ Program files\Metatrader\experts\indicators). The most important part is the end of line - experts\indicators. Thats is the location where metatrader searches for indicators. Once you restart metatrader, indicator should appear in navigator(usually launched by ctrl+n).
