Risk off, pure and simple. Terrible US data, disappointment that the Fed did not do more yesterday and the impending Moody’s bank downgrades put Mr. Market into an early funk from which he never recovered.
Watch 1.2520 near-term. A clean break should see pressure to the downside intensify. Sellers now in the 1.2570/90 window, traders report.

If no EZ banks are downgraded but US banks are, wouldn't that be a catalyst for a retracement? (in E/U)

Plus tomorrow is Friday.
If any banks are downgraded, it's risk negative. What happens in risk-negative (risk-off) markets?

Right, I guess even if U.S. banks are downgraded, flight to safety will still be USD.

SEC Charges Florida Broker In Astrology-Based Ponzi Scheme

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged that a former broker in Orlando, Fla., defrauded investors in an astrology-based Ponzi scheme.
The SEC alleges that Gurudeo “Buddy” Persaud lured family, friends, and others into investing in his firm, White Elephant Trading Company LLC, by falsely guaranteeing their money would be safe and yield lofty returns ranging from 6 to 18 percent. Persaud told investors he would invest in the debt, stock, futures, and real estate markets, but did not reveal that his trading strategy was based on his belief that markets are affected by gravitational forces.

Just short EURO, you can never be wrong. Below 1.244 am gonna short it heavily... have pending order at 1.243, tp 1.20. see you in July.
