Been a long while since I've seen dollar index up almost a dollar for the day. Dow Jones tanked today. If it weren't for tomorrow being Friday, I would assume there would be continuation.

Right... Trend is firmly down on every TF from 15 min to the monthly...strong FA should keep us going as the market stays risk off and prices in Spain's issues and the upcoming 50bps cut draghi will no doubt do.

As usual bond markets continue to price in correctly.. Always watching sovereign yields

Who gets downgraded worse UK banks or US?


And are any EZ banks going to be downgraded? It would only make sense.

If no EZ banks are downgraded but US banks are, wouldn't that be a catalyst for a retracement? (in E/U)

Plus tomorrow is Friday.

by the way thanks for yesterday suggestion for usd/cad i am in green by 101 pips and 0.3% up on equity and i am still in the trade and i am going to hold it for long term.my other limit orders on eu not trigger as they were at 1.2760 and above,hence i am flat may enter market on retracement probably around 1.2590-600 range probably tommorrow.

The initial report said UK banks would be downgraded. There was no mention of US of EZ. But then I heard something about 16 major bank downgrades. UK doesn't have 16 major banks... unless they meant 16 major downgrades... like 2 or 3 notches.

I guess we'll know in a couple of minutes

Pls doc. I think it may be because you dont know sisse. He is the most helpfull guy around and invaluable asset for whole FF. He taught me a lot as well as lots of other members. I cant believe he offended you. Maybe corrected and that is very likely. He often disagrees when someone writes fundamental statement he doesnt like.

I was laughing at Sisse... Not you. Sisse doesn't mean to be offensive. He's just rough around the edges but very knowledgeable.
