It may be okay to long e/u on retrace to 1.2645 area is where I think bounce will be capped by confluence of 50% fib of last down and 200smma on 15m.

We'll see. I added on to my short on test back at 1.2577

Its protected by short from 1.2721

Some banks in the UK will be downgraded tonight (GMT)

Done for the day fellas. +345 pips racked up and in dabank today. . Not counting open trades on U/CAD, A/U and N/U.

gf hi bud, i'm sorry i asked now lol ( i trade simple). no matter how much it drops/rises it turns around give me 20/40 pips and i am happy, and as for elliot waves there is a lot going for them as long as you dont think clinical

Long E/U @ 2563 for the retrace (and i dont think there will be much of one)

Wow very nice! is that including total movement between different pairs?

Where do you see the retrace going to? Tried to do the same at the 200SMA and got slapped in the face. -14 on that trade

I'm not sure how high the retrace will go. We've come down too much too fast on little news it would seem.

the dax line has been crossed but its still a bit high for my liking, i think i will wait a tad longer for going long. but as they say cut near the bone more meat .good trading

Is that clinical or technical? The article I refered to did indicate that technical guys (of which I think I'm one) think too much with the left side of the brain and not enough with the right.

Perhaps I should re-read my book "Elliott Wave Principals" and keep Forex in mind this time around. I had equities in mind the first time I read it.

Theoretically, we broke the H4 channel support and at some point we have to retrace to test it as resistance. It may happen before NY close, or overnight in Asian session or not at all.

Remember that theoretically the gap at 1.3090 should have closed. It's still open.

ADD: I would be more inclined to short if it gets there rather than long from here in the hope that it will get there. BTW, there is 1.2600/05

I'll probably take half off at 1.2590, this may not even be the bottom. Not exactly the smartest trade, we might just consolidate and no retrace.

Catching falling knives has never been my strong suit, I'm much better at taking the knife and sticking it in the bubble

hi bud, the way i have traded today and i earlier posted in here, i believe they normally put a 20 ema indie on it, and at present e/u is under it so i guess thats another reason to hold tight. but i do not normally go off ema
