Thing is I bought at $27 in early 2011. So I would be coming out break even from this, but if I can get 25% more silver before we finally get QE3, it's worth it.

If I knew anything about markets and economics back then (apart from knowing all currencies will fail inevitably), I would have sold my silver in high 40s when E/U was also in high 40s

Guys, ofc monthly pivot is important, but thats only calculation. So only technical analysts use it. I am telling you these numbers for quite some time and I will give it one more shot: ,2666 - 02/2009 monthly close. ,26803 - 11/2008 monthly close. Imo this is the zone we are fighting for right now on a daily basis.

Well since I am analyst and not a programmer, I got stuck as usuall. My favourite stuck is - cycle within cycle within cycle within cycle - if this than this if that than that and maybe that and in this case do that. And then I pray to get desired outcome. But I am close now .

Tom, this is a dilema many traders have, including myself... Over analysing. When you find the solution to it, please share.

Some say the solution is to look at a larger time frame. Larger time frames means your stop area will be futher awat to give your trade some breathing room. But as you've pointed out, you're going to go back to a lower time frame and try to justify why the price is now going in the wrong way and more often than not, close the trade.

A solution to that as PT has pointed out many times in this thread is to reduce your lot size and scale in as the trade goes in the right direction.
