Dislikedchangbachang, I have been intrigued by your tag line (or whatever they call it) for quite some time. Do you have a strategy where you're implementing that idea? I know there have been times when it seemed like someone was playing me that wayIgnored
A few years ago I had a British account that allowed full hedging, & would open a full hedged position, wait for it to move significantly, take the profit one way, & then close out the other side when it moved enough to make the whole trade profitable. Worked great when I had not a clue as to direction! I tripled an account in 4 months with this.
Unfortunately, being US, Dodd-Frank bill forced repatriation of foreign forex accounts, no hedging allowed here - though I imagine the banks can! "Land of the free"...
So that's why I use A/U & N/U now. Sucks when the correlations fall apart! But it's the best I can do with US rules. Requires much more margin to, so slows everything down. I'm still floundering with figuring out how to make it work, that's why I ask folks what they're doing to see how I might improve what I'm doing.
For what it's worth...
