Yeah good point. It is much harder to trade when you need some news to confirm your trade. AUD and NZD is rising is all I need to know.

Anyway the AUD and NZD have been rising on many pairs and the D1 slopes are indicating buy. Will look to buy if the trend continue next week. GBPNZD hit my SL at breakeven...

I was short on this pair from break of S1 and since it is volatility group 5 my TP was S2 and see if that gets broken to trigger another one but it did not and took me out at that for 110 pips

your template using interbank and brocotrader give give different
readings on the histogram if you look at these 2 4hr cable charts
first chart Interbank second Brocotrader

it doesnt appear to be working with Broco trader?

only thing I can think is that interbank is 5 dig broker
Broco is a 4 dig broker

Broco is a 4 dig broker
check if your indicators are the same? it seems that the Histo indicators on Broco are the old faulty ones.
If they are the same then check this fixed indicators...

Hi Rattyo,
I think indis are working correctly. The problem is you have noticeably different bars. Just put them side by side. So, different bars -> different reading.
I think this issue was touched somewhere in earlier posts.

..... does one broker have a "Sunday" candle and the other not?

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

yes thats sorted it out
the sunday bar, Broco doesnt
have a sunday bar interbank does.
Personally don't like the sunday bar
messes up the pivots on mondays etc.

Hi, anyone can help to make this 10.1 indi's dots disappear from the screen (maybe a true/false option)? I like the lines but the dots do clutter the screen if used with other indis. For reference, see the picture, dots are all over.

Your wish is my order...

took a little to figure out...but here you go..

added the external Parameter "showDots" if false no dots appear...if true, you guess..

if you want to reduce the line further search for

"if ( Show_SR_lines && !showDots ) fibStartBar = 10;"


(it is on Line 119) and decrease the value of 10 .

Shorted GBPNZD. Reason? The system told me so...

Update: Hit my 1st take profit for 0.5%, I have a second one running and I just entered a 2nd pair of trades at the S1. All in to profits now.

From backtesting and my feeling about it, I really feel this system have a very high edge compare to a lot of other trend systems.(and I have tested about maybe 6 different variations to date)

I wonder what exactly give it better edge over other trend systems.

AUDUSD, NZDUSD and NZDJPY is giving the text book signal to long now. D1 slope and H4 slope indicates so.

Will enter at the close of this H4 bar..... Its hard to live by faith and not by sight when it comes to trading because my mind is telling me to short. I will just force my self to shut my mind up.

am already long all these pairs since last candle close. As they all closed above weekly open line and had strength.

Bob,

I have been finding the Attached indicator really helpful on the smaller time frame of 30 min and 1 hour. It confirms trend and very clearly marks extreme swing points within the prevailing trend as well as counter trend points. It has adjustments that make it nice for both high and low volatility pairs. It does a nice job of visualizing a pullback within the prevailing trend. It helps with spotting good points to reenter that trend. It also gives a good insight into likely take profit areas. It use deviation built on fib numbers. It has a 5 day look back but that can be adjusted.

It work well with my setup that uses your system with some modifications I use based on my own experience as a trader. Such as me not being able to give up MACD SMI or the money flow index indicator which does a nice job of being a leading indicator. I think the MFI indicator is much overlooked really because every one says volume is not useful in Forex. However I find this not true at all when used like this indicator uses it. I think you know what I mean by not going with the prevailing thinking in Forex.

On the attached chart you can view what this looks like on the 30 minute with where EURUSD is today. Very enlightening. Sitting on the 1.618 standard lower outside channel well with in the uptrend and a possible long continuation from a nice swing low position. Not saying that is going to happen but certainly a strong possibility with confirmation from price and indicators. Please excuse the dark template. I have glaucoma and need contrast to see well.
