Syriza will not participate with those pro bailout factions. They will let the gov't dig deeper hole, fail and new elections called again in 6-8 months or so and they will sweep into power by majority. They will not be part coalition. They will sit back and say "I told you so" in few months.

Or not. I believe they are just like any other populist party which don't have qualified personnel to run government and are happy to shout from opposition.

In that case, I don't think anyone in Greece is qualified. There will probably be revolution at some point in Greece and in Spain. I mean, how much longer will people accept 20%+ unemployment, out of control gov't spending and being puppets to int'l bankers?

I think that the winning parties accept that there needs to be a change to the austerity framework. They won by suggesting a renegotiation.

Spain was given 100 Billion and so now Germany is on the Hot Seat.

This way Greece sees what they can get without being in default. The FOMC now will probably do nothing.

Have things changed ?

We have the same issues which is too much debt.

I suggest let the markets decide short term and by Friday June 22, 2012 we all will have a better handle on it.

This result can be seen as positive for Greece short term.

Watch Europe open for reaction and also start of G-20 in Mexico and FED decision on Wednesday 12:30 PM on June 20, 2012.

Look at results in France and watch Syria and price of Gold.

There will be good trading opportunities just be patience and watch market reaction.

The USA is in difficulty and none of the problems in Greece, Spain, Italy are fixed.

That is my objective take on things.
