EDIT: Its 65 bux.. Costs to change Yuan to USD is about 30 USD. Wiring from Bank to a US bank is 35. Max 5k US though. While using Paypal to send to US bank account is a flat 5% charge. 5% of 5k.. yea totally not worth it...

I'm bad at math, why don't you just tell us the leverage you use?
Pt uses 1:1, I've seen that posted before.
I loudly and not super proudly use 50:1, eventually will diminish though.
1800 pips sounds like about 5:1?

Actually I use less than 1:1 per position, but I use anywhere from 3:1 and 10:1 on an ongoing basis over multiple positions depending on market sentiment.

5-6:1. Once i deposit, ill reduce it to 3.5:1. At most i have three positions open. Will never have anything above 4. But lets pass now.. Elections for Greece are now happening and im viewing my soon to be lovely laptop.. Here!

How would you decipher if a trade is worth 3:1 or 10:1? I guess you have different styles of trading. I love reading your comments, and always something new to learn. Hopefully you will throw little chips at us nooblets on what is worth anything more than 'less than 1':1 vs 3 or 10:1.

If i placed a 10:1 trade, ill have a heart attack!!

I never take 10:1 leverage trades. What I meant was that the total number of positions I may have going at the same time, could approach and hit a total aggregate leverage of up to 10:1 at times. However, that is only during times of extreme sentiment. Otherwise I prefer to keep my maximum exposure at or below 5:1

While the comment was harsh it was meant to help. The reaction to the placing on the ignore list was normal however wrong.

Greeks vote in crucial elections, Europeans look on

Conservative New Democracy and leftist SYRIZA are competing for first place in the elections, offering opposite views on how to deal with the country’s economic crisis.

New Democracy wants to stick with the current fiscal adjustment, albeit with revisions, and the reforms demanded by the eurozone and the International Monetary Fund so Greece can continue to receive loans to repay its public debt and cover some of its public spending.
SYRIZA argues that the current formula is choking Greece’s economy and means the country will never be in a position to repay its debt. It proposes scrapping the loan agreement, known as the memorandum, and drawing up a new deal with Greece’s eurozone partners.

Opinion polls indicate that ND and SYRIZA are running neck and neck for first place, which would grant the winning party an extra 50 seats in Parliament. This would be vital for forming a coalition government. Neither party is likely to win an outright majority.

Center-left PASOK is expected to come in third place, with anti-bailout Independent Greeks, Democratic Left, the Communist Party and neo-Nazi Golden Dawn also vying for seats in Parliament.

The elections are being closely watched in other eurozone member states and beyond. Several European officials expressed concern over the weekend about the outcome of the Greek vote.

Speaking on Saturday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel insisted that any new Greek government would have to stick with the current austerity policies.
“It cannot be the case and this is also an issue now in connection with the Greek election – that what comes out in the end is that those who don’t keep to an agreement, can so to speak, lead everyone else through the arena by the nose ring,” Merkel said during a conference of her CDU party.
“That won’t work,” she added. “That is why it is so important that, in the Greek election tomorrow…a result emerges in which those who form a government in future tell us, yes, we want to keep to the agreements.”
Merkel held a telephone conversation with French President Francois Hollande on Saturday, in which the two leaders discussed the Greek elections.
Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker suggested a win for SYRIZA could have widespread implications.

"If the radical left wins - which cannot be ruled out - the consequences for the currency union are unforeseeable,» Juncker, head of the group of eurozone finance ministers said.

Both comments received a negative reaction in Greece but a letter by Germany’s Bild newspaper to Greek voters went down even worse. The tabloid warned Greeks: “Tomorrow you have elections but you do not have any choices.”

“If you don’t want our billions, you are free to elect any left- or right-wing clowns that you want,” the newspaper said in its open letter. “For more than two years, thought, your ATMs are only issuing euros because we put them there.

“If the parties that want to end austerity and reforms win the elections, they will be breaching all agreements and we will stop paying.”
The first round of exit polls is due as soon as voting ends at 7 p.m. A second round of exit polls is expected about an hour later.

The first projection based on actual votes counted is due at about 9.30 p.m.

Leaving would mean a bank run, higher inflation, deep wage cuts and a fall in GDP of more than 20% - it would be a major catastrophe," he said.

14.39 SYRIZA asks the Interior Ministry to keep the polls open for an additional two hours on the islands of Lesvos and Hios, as high winds and a ferry crash on Saturday have meant that many constituents met with delays in trying to reach the islands.

14.09 According to a phone call made a short while ago, a second hand grenade was thrown at Skai-Kathimerini headquarters in Neo Faliro, Skai.gr reports.

i am good buddy, i do not normally trade over a weekend ( last 2 i did lol). the charts say it was going to range , but weekend is weekend and elections so it is best to leave. my mate trades spikes just in case it explodes. Wife wants a new house so i got to do overtime on the forex lol. i am staking out my triggers and just studying market. Dont get too involved in greece its not worth thinking about just watch the charts and what ever happens there its all catered for and we'll make lots of pips then maybe go on to another currency. take care friend

the issue is nothing to do with once nationality,rather its more about lenders and borrowers and which side u r on.historically borrowers suffer more pain and dislocation than lenders. my sympaties and support always for the weaker parties and i dont care whether its,german,french or aborigines or blacks or arab or whites.
for me pain is pain and is pain.in old days kings and princes used to be tyrants but now in modern days its the lenders who are tyrant.

for me historically lenders are tyrants,just think about that person who went after these moneychangers in the temple holding whip in his hand and what happen to him later,many ppl says he was crucified.[pbuh]

yes indeed, i remember when i bought a run down house in north london. i told my wife i'd bought a house and presented her with a dolls house lol. she didnt speak for 3 days and when she did find out about the real house in north london she didnt speak for a month.
