NB Yes very ranging markets this week thus far only 2 sell trades this week audnzd,eurnzd,for 123 pips.
NB looking forward to any additional help in these market conditions.

Exited EURNZD for a profit from an earlier position and a small lost in a recent one- -0.1% The H4 Tma slope indicates ranging that's why.

I did a visual back testing of 10.2 method esp for June 1st week. Rules of trading were:

1) D1 slope - If > 0.4 buy only for the pair and > -0.4 sell on for the pair
2) On H4 candle closes above / below WP or S/R level we enter - But over 50% of the candle body should cross the pivot or S/R level
3) If there is no WP cross then look for any of the following:
a) S/R rejection / support - the candle touches S/R line and closes below it and candle is Red and not Blue (close < open)
b) SRF - if sell is the trigger for the pair then candle...
I agree with what u say here, and I will really like an EA that can do all that!! My job interfere with my trading too!!

Thanks mate. This encourages me alot.

Using Currency Slope Strength indi by Baluda I see all currencies hovering around the zero level. This means ranging mkt all over. May be only short GBP with most pairs will give some profits today. I got some. Otherwise, we will have to wait for next week for some trends developing or some unusual price hikes. Greek elections is causing this I guess. Beware of that I suggest to all and myself too. I may not trade on tomorrow and Monday unless clearly see the signal to do so or for some very small profits.

I agree. I hit it big Monday playing the reversals on the gaps but since then. Yuck. Probably not going to try to even enter trades today. I mean I have only done 9 trades since Monday and only 2 trades wed and thurs. So I think I will catch up on my sleep. Have a good one. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes very slow week however currently in eurusd,audcad, eurjpy, audusd, nzdusd, buys and usdcad, gbpaud, sells however will be sure to have nothing open over the weekend.

Your so right forexripper, very tight range almost as if the market has stalled and is in a holding pattern. Based on what has happened in the past the market will be extremely volatile when it does break.

It hit my Sell order at S1. I hope to liquidate it before the weekend or when it hit S2 which ever comes first

My Name is Gabriel Jureidini , I followed your system with a great interest ... I introduce myself briefly, I lived and worked in computer research domain in France and actually in Lebanon working on an EA expert system ... My system is almost finished and I integrated almost all
techniques that I found interesting ...


I named it Progress




The system is based on :
- signals
- rules (everyone can define his rules)
- engines (based on recovery models)
- piloting (network commanding the system)
- sound , alerts, and news (automatic)




I made a tour on all the forums in Forex Factory and I integrated (THV, Symphonie, TMA Extreme, and your system NB 10.2)..

Take a look at the attachments , it gives you an idea of the look of the system ...


The good thing about this expert is that it is an open system :


Example of writing a NB 10.2 sell signal :


if (AndS (TMA_T_S, S_BEAR, x, x + 1) && AndS (WOH2X1, S_BELOW, x) && AndS (WOH1X0, S_BELOW, x) &&
(AndS (MA_5.1, S_BELOW, x) || AndS (PIVOT_POINT, S_BELOW, x + 2)))

Set_Signal (TMA_T_S, S_SELL, x, P_SIGNAL);
.......




Example of writing a entry rule :



if (AndS (TMA_T_S, S_BUY, P_D1))
{
Set_Rule (OP_BUY, T_STATUS, R_A, P_SIGNAL);
}

the same can be defined for the exit, buy, sell, rules etc ... .


By combining signals we define a rule in a second ...
The system can run as many as 16 rules....


Now, when a rule is met .. it triggers an engine /// in this case R_A can trigger then Engine A : This Engine is defined in an Excel File .. it tells the recovery method and the way an engine works initially (pipsteps, forward, ... etc)..

Now every engine can be piloted by a manual intervention via networki program...

Now a lot more ....


Now as I am not an active member and don't speak engish fluently is it possible to have a forum dedicated to this expert ? Everybody can share his knowledge from all the forums related to their prefered system....

First of all my applause for such a great endeavor you started. This looks like a big project.

Since many developments for NB's system, especially indicators and EA's are found on steve's forum why not take a look there. Many passionate programmers are already there and some Frenchman also.

EU on D1 has sell bias and price is below MP. So I am short on this one.
I bought NZDUSD, AUDCAD so those looks fine.
EJ gave mixed signals on D1 so left this pair for now.
UC has price above MP and D1 slope has UT bias so I bought it near open for the week actually when price had support there and did not try and break it. So am long on it.
GBPAUD surely has DT so I was short on this but close near S1 as price on D1 shows retracement.

Why bother with reasoning. I saw it on D1 and H4 currency slope strength indi and found it to have pips in it with GBP, USD, EU so traded them and pocketed few pips.
