Well I don't think the big boys are going to cover their shorts unless the short covering snowballs. Most big boys trade on a longer time frame. Probably the big boys will hang tight until price breaches 1.2800/25 area. That's where the short squeeze would begin (if price gets that high, which I doubt very much)

It is more likely that the big boys will wait till the little guys (that's us) take price up to the low to mid 1.27xx area and then bring out their giant hammer (I will be there with them starting at 1.2667)

If defending the euro currency
that had a massive short.
I would seed the media with warnings
of a pending gap and snort,
"Warnings of impending doom"
"Warnings of resolution".
Testing all of those but those with solid constitution.
Then......
Cover would the little ones
Cover would they all.
Then after they had covered the
euro would then fall!



Do not the large institutions and govee's have sophisticated hedgfe strategies that allow them to maintain positions?

Yes they do and that is why they will not cover at first. However, if they see an opportunity for a stop hunt to reload on fresh shorts at a higher price, they'll certainly take advantage of it

No, it was anger - I was stoped out two times at that ugly m5 cluster at 1.2595 and ran out to supermarket to buy a drink of the Gods and when I returned I remebered that I forgot my dog so got to run one more time..
