Euro Squeeze Higher Won't Top This Week's Peak - Nomura

12:36 EDT - Short squeezes in the euro continue, but while the currency could potentially move higher than the $1.2611 level touched in earlier trading, it will be hard to break through Monday's high, when Spain's bank rescue plan briefly sent the euro to $1.2672, says Charles St-Arnaud at Nomura. Ahead of the Greek elections, St-Arnaud says the bank's clients are trying to stay neutral on the euro. "What we are seeing now is some covering," he says. "A lot of them don't want to be supporting that risk -- they'd rather go flat into the weekend." Euro recently up about 0.6% on day to trade at $1.2581, according to EBS via CQG.

That high is right at the monthly pivot. Don't think it will break that this week.

I would agree but the way the market is moving these days who the heck nows. But I agree that It would be streeeeeeech. Today, it was driven by the negative data released on the US, but that was probably the most important release of the week. It will probably go higher than it is now on the asian session but after that, I wont put my money on that until I see it.

Sorry to hear, some of you took a hard hit on your accounts, from what i could see new gamblers ( cant be called traders ). If you are going to dance with professionals, you had better know your stuff.

If you had a hard time these past 2 days, you had best go away, it was easy from where i am sitting. Clear direction.

I see you asking " where is eur/usd going now ?......should i buy ?........where is your SL. I am near my margin , i hope it goes down.

Looks like it will break upside at some point. Impulse should be good.

Oil and stocks dipped and Gold Bugs keeping gold high.

EDIT: target 23 and extended 41/48.
They think they are smarter than I am.
