as far as I perceive it - and others may have different views.. the longer the time frame that closes above or below it the better the chance of it being broken...

IE: a close above or below it with an hr or 4 hr candle is a good sign of a break..

I tend to find if it bounces on it - its been rejected.. often or not if it pierces through it and then gets rejected - price often revisits it again and tries for a 2nd or 3rd time..

this is just how I view it - theres loads of experienced guys out here who will add more or correct me if needs be

This is exactly why I take profit so much. Most of the profit is now gone and if my main short is taken out, that will mean overall a 0.1% gain when it should have been 0.4-5% if I just closed all of it at 2480.....

Classic bear trap, on break of 77 there. At least I was not the only one fooled

This could be another bull trap though.

I'm done for today. What we just saw almost never happens without data.

Exactly we are all confused. All I see is 15m bullish div. but that should not have created that large of a rally, because we have 30m bearish div before that.

Probably another bull trap/shake out the weak shorts

Also makes sense that we would range today, given a 200 pip daily bar yesterday. Probably need some consolidation here before we break 1.2450

What TA? Those are wide ranges too, but i do agree on 2540, more like 2525-2565
