I always try to use the most recent data to get the most probable reading on direction. Today however, that is starting to get tricky....

If you assume that the current movement is a correction of the recent up swing from 1.228x to 1.266x then the correction has already reached the 61.8% level so we should look out for a continuation of the bear below 1.243x or a new high in the swing to above 1.266x. But the PA on the hourly is not conclusive at this time and I would look for an initial break below 1.248x.

If we move out to the next swing down from 1.283x to 1.228x and assume that we are in a correction of that movement which is also highly possible given the PA since the swing down, then the price has actually made around 70% correction and would therefore favour being complete. A breach of 1.266x for continued correction, 1.282x for new up swing confirmation or a break below 1.228x to confirm the correction is complete and the bear resumes.

Are you confused? maybe not, but what is clear is that the price direction is currently unclear. When this occurs you will often see a good break once it is decided so watch out for that and whatever your trade plan be prepared to be wrong.

In these circumstances it pays to only take the highest probability trades or to leave it alone.

My trade plan for today is as follows:

1. Shorts below 1.248x which I still favour.
2. Longs above 1.251x

once these have triggered once I will assess the plan again before the next trade.

ive short position at 1.2482, because i see the indicator for down trend for this day, but my position is to early too in. my target TP:1.2450 SL:1.2525.
