DislikedHey there buddy. nice first post, but I feel compelled to tell you: no, according to technical analysis, in fact not all gaps have to fill. There is a specific gap known as a "break away" gap that, in fact, according to technical analysis does NOT fill...
continuation gaps do, but breakaway gaps do not.
Now, the harder thing to discern is which is which until after it's obvious... but, over time, you begin to get a pretty good feel for which is which.
Personally, today, i'm of the breakaway camp.
but time will tell.
