please refer to my earlier charts.in this chart price after failing to reach median line try to test level C as anticipated.now i have added two more line called trigger line and if price break upper trigger line then it is a buy signal.signal do fail if so i will say my stoploss will be below upper parallel median line on the closing basis.

Nice move during Asia time. Let see how far the retracement will hold with the data coming out today in the EU zone. At this point it is above the daily pivot.

The ECB rate statement and Draghi press conference are due today. Just before that time comes until well after the press conference, the technicals may not mean much until the dust settles.

I just wanna make sure I understand the 2450/2500 numbers, that is for long buying.

The market is very short the Euro. If Draghi today sits on his hands and does nothing to help the European economy or the banks, then we have status quo and the Euro may drop further, therefore possibly marking the 1.2515 as today's high.

However, if he introduces or hints at the introduction of another round of LTRO, or perhaps a rate cut, the current Euro shorts may cover, sending the Euro on a nice rally while the big boys take profit.

That's how I see it at this point, but during times of extreme sentiment, it is more difficult to predict how the market will react to news. It's a wait and see game at this point.

What I can tell you with a fair level of certainty is that any upside on the Euro will be limited as there will be loads of fresh sellers waiting if we get a short covering.



1.2450 and 1.2500 are the strike price of the options which will be expiring today. These levels tend to be magnetic to price. The larger they are in size, the more magnetic they tend to be. Reports state that the options at 1.2450 are quite large so they will tend to be more magnetic than the others. These are not buy or sell signals. They are a guide to see where price is most likely to go, but it is not a law of nature. Still anything can happen.

On th e1h charts i notice a strong trend line developing, and it looks like its heading for 1.261
after that possible fall to 1.256 and back up!

i'd welcome reason for and against!

in my opinion there is a good chance, that we reach 1.2620/50 despite all bad news out of the Eurozone.

Below I repost a chart from yesterday and the same from 5 Minutes ago.
It looks, as the AB=CD pattern is working.

But don´t count too much on my two pennys, the chart yesterday was my first posted chart ever.

well as far as technicals go, we broke out of the bear channel again and back into the bull channel. but will it be another fakeout?

It's quite possible to get some nervous shorts covering their positions before the ECB rate statement.
