looks to be targetting 2390- or 1.24, but with this price action, i bet we see 1.23 no later than tomorrow.

out with -25 on long EU.. level did only hold for scalping.. now watching 2410 2390-60

Sudden drop again, wasn't paying attention. Missed the entry price that I wanted to enter at. (Yes I execute trades manually).

Shall wait for 93.

somewhat, he called a 2510 cap, and it did cap there until after NY we broke through.

but it wasn't that hard of a call to make i dont think

1.2510 was the bearish channel top, and usually they like to fake a breakout of the channel. just like happened when we bounced from 1.265 area to 1.282, we barely broke the channel then immediately fell back into it

i do to only way to do it if you ask me. ultimately the market is unpredictable i have been caught by the odd weird bounce

i could have told you that.. the pair is too heavy for any sort of retrace from here. a scalp was all i expected, and 57 capped the bounce, which was the peak from NFP

Trading is drastic and over reacting even for the low pmi news, is London closed? If so I think this is all happening on low volume. Once NY opens I think we will find a firm base and probably bounce back near 1.25 with more normal channels and trending.

Morning all

My sell from 2500 area obviously was stoped out. After looking at PA from last night Asia morning session it was begging for 2500 breach,
I missed todays news as well but entered @ 2440
Still holding EUR/CAD. My original entry from yesterday which is posted in KW thread failed, but this one still intact & in profit atm
Oh mental note Never ever ignore triangles by important resistance when price knocking on heavens door many times - thats the sign of willing to breach. Some dude post that triangle last night.

-25 is nothing already covered it with GU Also posted that GU is for downside, so was short on it and still holding

Euro sell-off is a bit curious BNP Paribas

Dow Jones headline.
Not so sure the sell-off is all that curious, but the extent and speed of it this morning is certainly somewhat surprising.
It has the market participants Ive spoken to scratching their heads somewhat, and to be honest I cant see an obvious strong trigger for the accelerated euro losses.
Best I can come up with is the comments from Spains Treasury Minister, that at current borrowing costs market door not opened to Spain and the reiteration that its technically impossible to rescue Spain.
The move is obviously being exacerbated by extremely thin market conditions with UK out on bank holiday.

its also bouncing of a trendline, and you have to remember the market acted on some bad job figures for USD my assumption is that they are finally realising that in comparison to eur its still a good report. plus everyone was waiting for a move down

hehe you must not use any margin if 25 pips is nothing

20 pips to me can be up to 1% of my account

for the most confident and best r/r trades ill use 5x leverage max with 20 pip stop. i wish i used 5x at 2520 and caught 100 pips of the move (only used 2x and caught 30 pips) i would be all smiles today. i was wrong today about the bear move being a small move, it's actually looking like it's going to be one of the biggest daily down moves (if we continue through NY)..but at least i was right about direction



not even thinking about taking profit until we hit 1.24 , but could go as far 1.2380 imo. also could stop at 1.2415 (but only briefly)

yeah i think your pretty on the money. 1.23.... around there some where for a sole trader i would be looking to be out before 1.23 is hit but im thinking its going to go down to a new low.. i think most are now expecting it to hit lows.?

looking at the 1hr chart this is one of the largest 3 hour sell offs in the entire bearish move from 1.328
