Negative risk sentiment results in capital flows to safe havens. The Yen is considered more of a safe haven than the USD and the USD is considered more of a safe haven than anything else out there. So, as shorts are covered for profits, the Yen drops (more than the USD) and the USD drops (More than anything else)

Back from vacation and had over 1000 pages of post to read! Wow, many new faces since I've left. Welcome to all, this is an excellent thread to hang out on.

Still trying to reset my jaw in place after that 700 point drop this month. I left it was at 1.3000 ... Now at 1.2325
