Lots of great trades today involving breaks of the 5 MA on the H4 for pairs with highly negative TMA slopes.

Hi Verb...great picks. My first live trades... I took all of the trades; my entries were 'manual', as I use a Spread Betting broker. The entries were the equivalent of 5.1 MA on the 1 hours charts...as best that I could, as they all triggered pretty soon, one after the other! I closed them all for a profit of 708 pips.

Many thanks to you, Jemook (and others...) and of course nanningbob, for taking the time to post your analysis and thoughts. It really helps people like me learn the system.

Some of you have been wondering why I havent posted my non test version. Here is the reason why. A slope indicator based strength comparison indi. It groups all the currency by each kind and gives you the overall strength number on top of each currency. Like all the aud together, jpy together, etc. and then ranks them on the far right. Here is the one of the first pics of a rough model of what we are looking at. Still have to iron out the issues but this is a very computer friendly comparison as compared to the computer hogging strength systems of the past. Enjoy the pic and hopefully we can post the indi soon as a group of talented programmers put this thing together.

From this pic you will know that the strongest movers will be JPY USD and the weakest are NZD GBP. This will allow you to trade where the biggest moves will probably be located. Amazing stuff huh. God I am tickled to death here.

Great day yesterday even though I didnt have time to trade I just threw my EA on the screen in the direction of the strongest daily pairs and picked up 434 pips while painting, talking to parents of our children and spending the entire day with my teachers working and cleaning. Dang. This is so cool. Wonder how many I would have gotten if I had studied some. Gotta go and set up for an English camp and cant comment but good luck trading today.

That is a great slope matrix. Its like a fish detector/radar. You know exactly where to drop your bait. Marvelous!

Well, there's no end to it now, Bob! This indi takes this system to another new level, a headlamp in the dark, if you like. And it won't ask an arm and a leg of system resources. How good can it get?!!

Hi Verb

When you say you are currently up +1200 pips is that as in full pips or mini pips (which I presume is 5 digit )

Either way both good and I know you've certainly got the hang of this strategy, but just wondered. Thanks again for all your help to us newbies in your contributions.

I will definitely post my non test version of 10.2, same one I have been using for the last 2 weeks. I also will post some of the test versions of some indis we are developing. Like the one I just showed a pic of and another which will take the high and low of the week and post the new S/R lines so you dont have to wait until Monday to see them. If they test out well we can add them to the system. So a lot on my plate to do.

At NB's request. Here's what I'm looking at for today. In general, I wont be adding long term positions today in prep for NFP. I might scalp in direction of trend today and then close everything before NY open.

Sell:
AUDJPY - already in on multiple positions, holding til NY
AUDUSD - already in on multiple positions, D1 has dropped below 0.8, it might be time to trail positions
CADJPY - already in
CHFJPY - already in
EURJPY - already in on multiple positions
EURUSD - already in on multiple positions
GBPUSD - missed my entry looking to get in
GBPJPY - missed my entry looking to get in
NZDUSD - already in on multiple positions, D1 has dropped below 0.8, it might be time to trail positions
NZDJPY - already in on multiple positions
USDCAD - not in
USDCHF - already in and holding

As I mentioned before, I'm closing my PnL before NY and protecting my profit ahead of that if necessary.

NFP starts trends and ends them so lets see what happens.

Gave this a second thought and have closed all my open trades. Frankfurt coming online in an hour and there should be a lot of squaring of trades in prep for NFP.

I will wait until after NFP, analyze trends then look to get back in next week.

GBPJPY, GU - moved over 110pips during London. There is no more Support level. I am going to tp once price settles.

I have backtested 4 pairs already GBPUSD, AUDUSD, EURUSD and EURJPY. I found that it is more profitable to follow NNbobs suggestion IN THE MANUAL than just exiting according to the time of day. I have nothing against anyone that do that, I am just presenting what I conclude.It is nice to see profits fast but it will probably happen to the detriment of better long term results. Who knows maybe certain pairs are better for it and certain pairs are not. (oh no I am creating more work for myself....)

I couldnt agree more to that, bin. I am still trying to hold my order longer according to slope indi readings, like what verb does. He holds em for a week, and reap the rewards big time.

Will try again next week for a fresh start.

Totally new to Nb... set your two templates in MT and wondering on "10.2 mainscreen red sr2.tpl" template... shouldn't the green big headline say "S/R2 with Pivot" instead of "S/R1 with Pivot"?

That problem is cleaned up in the update. I am going to play reversals tonight. Just for the heck of it. I feel that reversals is where it will go with the USD. Short lived but that is me.

What are your views on how price will behave around dynamic versus flat S/R lines? Obviosuly not much of a difference early in the week, but as the week rolls on the differenece may be significant. Thanks.
