i think if japan not do dollar yen intervention..they will try to buy euro bond and do euro yen intervention....since euro yen touch new low

That's right. Just surpassed the 12 year low. If it wasn't for the euro being such a disaster, I would consider buying here, especially when you consider the yen is strong and seems to have hit a resistance. But EUR/JPY fell to this level so fast that I don't think it's near finished. Unless BOJ intervenes of course. Then we will see a spike. After that the question becomes, how big of a spike and will it stick? Probably not.

Same....no way I'm going to buy UJ or EJ while this EZ crap plays out.....maybe when the USA debt ceiling issue comes around again in Novenmber!!..... hu hu hu

77.64 was the 76.4 retracement of the ENTIRE up move. Perhaps that's the line in the sand.

They should check rates in all the JPY pairs, USD has gotten the weakest of the move so far

中国银行6月1日完成人民币对日元首笔直接交易

　　中新社北京6月1日电(记者 魏晞)6月1日，中国外汇交易中心正式开办由直接交易做市商提供流动性的人民币对日元直接交易。当天上午，中国银行作为首批人民币对日元直接交易做市商，以做市商身份、会员银行身份分别与瑞穗实业银行(中国)、三联东京日联银行(中国)成交当日首笔人民币对日元交易。
　　6月1日开始的人民币对日元直接交易，令世界第二大经济体和第三大经济体之间的货币，首次得以“直面”对方。分析师对记者表示，此前人民币对日元汇率中间价根据当日人民币对美元汇率中间价以及美元对日元汇率套算形成，一旦美元汇率波动，会有一定损失风险，兑换手续费也较高。
　　实现直接交易后，有利于降低两种货币交易时对美元的依赖性，不但提升人民币和日元在全球金融市场的影响力，更是推进人民币国际化的重要一步。
　　中国银行间外汇市场人民币对日元挂牌交易始于1995年，日元是继美元、港币之后在银行间外汇市场挂牌的第三个货币。随着银行间外汇市场的发展，人民币对日元交易量也稳步增长，2011年银行间外汇市场人民币对日元交易量达到292.8亿元人民币。
　　中国银行间市场的首批做市商，交易量占比突出，在市场中影响巨大。中国银行表示，未来将积极履行做市商义务，在银行间外汇市场提供人民币对日元的买、卖双向报价，为市场提供流动性。(完)
