You are right with fuel prices and of course ppl start to worry - no wonder if you check news.
But when i talk to my friends that run their own business they all tell me there is so much work and the order books are full. So at least i don't see a big worry near time. Of course it's all going up and down with exports in the macro picture. I guess it depends a lot what 'social class' you belong to. Sad but true.

So far all eurozone fundies today have been under expectation and previous month with the exception of German Unemployment rate.

Makes it kinda hard to have any kind of retracement, huh?

Well, if they are solvent, they dont need cash right? Ah damn, I forgot, they are solvent but currently experiencing liquidity issues. Thats just a short term issue. Because as we all know, this European downtrend will turn around soon and all those junk bonds will regain value in matter of minutes. Right? Right? Please let this be true. Thats probably what Draghi thinks.

This is not only liqidity issue, but solvency issue.

Draghi is once again draghing Europe through mud. Damn this GS bastard.

Hello PT,

for I live in germany too, may I add something to iaks answer?
My impression is, that the common people in Germany have the feeling to be the "paymaster" of EU since it started.
Of course it is not that simple, because for example, the german export profited highly from the week Euro but most of the people dont see it so differented.
A quite more interesting matter is, that since a couple of weeks, a public dicussion started, if we really need the EURO and if would be really a big desaster to go back to the different currencies.
Very noticeable is, that all politicians remain very silent in this matter.
Just this morning I read an big article in a business magazine, which came to the conclusion, that it would not be the end of Occident, if we abandon the Euro. Very interesting!
Just my two pennies
