Good morning everyone,
Starting from today, theoretically the markets should be focused on the US Jobs number. Today we get the ADP Non-Farm employment figures followed by the US Jobless claims, and then tomorrow is the holy grail of econ data the US official Non-farm Payroll. So, will the focus shift away from Spain and Greece for a couple of day? Hey, anything is possible but how can one ignore a meteor shower just to watch a movie? I guess we have to wait and find out. Regardless, we're still in a downtrend and will more than likely remain in one. I am just hoping for a positive day to get a nice entry to reload on some fresh shorts.
So, from a technical perspective, where do we hope to see price rise to? The last major broken support at 1.2500/20 area is what I am now targeting as it is also the 261.8% fibo level and we have yet to retest it as resistance. It is quite realistic to expect a retrace to this level as it is only around 110/130 pips away from current price of 1.2390. However, in order to get there today, we have to have a day without significant meteor crashing down on Europe coupled with a great movie.
Anyway, I moved my sell limit order down to 1.2518 but I may move it a touch lower (perhaps 1.2500 later according to what I see on the charts in the form of PA together with what I gauge as the market sentiment. At this point I am convinced that we shall hit my 1.2235 target quite easily. It's just a matter of whether we reach it before Friday, or we have to wait till next week.
