I've been waiting for something like this. Suspect the US BBs will execute a buying dip though. Maybe more than one.

This is best course of action IMHO, since it "seems" late to short, and way too early for long. I am trying to avoid anything USD related, other then the Gold short I've had running for some time.

Instead of "picking bottom", we simply need to let it "reveal itself". There will be some sure signs.

Right now, all we have is a Strong USD that continues to bolt higher and higher in a strong Uptrend, and a Weekly Head and Shoulders Break out. No point in stepping in front a speeding train, as they say...

Here is an updated Weekly chart of SPX and EUR (closely correlated, see bottom of chart). Eur are the black Candles.

Note that the USD has already closed above its Neckline last week.

As you can see on the EUR, it doesn't matter which is the Neckline anymore, if it closes under the bottom one (End of this week, its heading that way now).

The way I see these H&S, is simply they are "in play", until they aren't.

The bottom line imho is its a speculation trade more times than not, sometimes based on VSA, sometimes based on a Candle, etc but it is a trade that does NOT meet the normal rules of a Sonic Trade, and therefore is NOT recommended to part-take in.

They can be used, and, with enough "reasons" and/or a little luck, they can work out.

Again imho, I think the best "Scout" type trade is a re-entry into the current trend. So in following the normal rules, let's say a Sonic Short trade starts and let's see moves 40 - 50 pips down in your direction but not to the ultimate target. Then, price is suddenly spiked up back into the Dragon area, and bonus if you see volume telling you "they" are selling the spike. Now you "re-enter" the trade Short, on basically what we can call a "Scout" Short trade, since we are speculating it was just a liquidity spike for "them" to add more shorts to their holdings.

Sorry no chart, I think that is a pretty clear explanation however.
