Seriously, I'm very interested to know, as I'm in the process of changing brokers myself. My old broker had 1.6 pip average but sometimes held my orders when I would scalp perfectly, and i would get 2-4 pip slippage.

Not everytime, but enough to make 1.6 pip average spread not worth it vs a broker who instantly fills every time, but has a 2 pip spread.
Not with FX Pro, but with my last broker, I once lost $800 due to slippage and requote in a NFP day, they requoted me when I entered a short just before the move down and executed it just 1 pip above bottom, 1m later, price went up 100 pips or so and I had a -$800 loss.

the 'new' one is Pepperstone ,go with Razor account($3.95 commission),but like i say.. i dont know they're true ECN like MB Trading or Dukascopy because Pepperstone also have this statement "SL or TP must differ from market price by 20 pips(@eurusd chart)" ,same like PFD (Pacific Financial Derivatives)

Ouch. Well at least lesson learned, huh?

I learned a while ago too. Trading NFP kills accounts, unless you are not using any leverage.
An opportunity lost is not a capital cost.

Hmm, I don't know if I have traded any of those so I don't know. When is the next one? I'll watch.

But when big money and dealers are panicking and placing their large orders, you can be sure you don't get filled for a while.

Nomura - 30% probability of a 25bp rate cut already at next Wednesday‟s ECB meeting

"... today‟s money and credit data were disappointing and likely reflect both the continued deleveraging forces weighing on the bank‟s balance sheets and the heightened financial market uncertainty affecting especially portfolio decisions of the OFI sector. The ECB will certainly be scrutinising today‟s numbers for signs that the LTRO funds are finding their way into the wider
economy.... Given today‟s deterioration in financial market sentiment, the calls for immediate ECB action are clearly getting louder. For now, we stick with our call of no change in policy rates this month, followed by a 50bp rate cut in July but we now see a 30% probability of a 25bp rate cut already at next Wednesday‟s ECB meeting." Jens Sondergaard, Senior European Economist at Nomura Securities.

Thanks PT, I think i'll sit on the fence if I miss something major then so be it but its a bit low for any position shorts and definitely too uncertain for a long and my system hasnt shown a possible short in a good few days so I'ts best to watch and wait, youre profits are a prime example of patience playing out a winner!

I finished my exams last thursday thank god then had a weekend of non stop beer in the lovely Irish weather now back to reality of european misery and a fiscal treaty vote on Thursday, don't count on a yes vote from Ireland the rest of Europe wasnt nice to us in the eurovision
