Looks like everybody is holding their breath for the EurUSD right now. Have just seen a slightly raise here. Can this be the bottom?

But what I dont understand is, if the Euro will start to rebound again will this mean that the GBPUSD will too?
When looking at a H1 chart they have acted quite similiar. And both are in a low range directionless zone.

At present the GBP is more likely to rise than the Euro. The risk aversion is mostly about the EuroZone debt and political crisis.

So if the Euro rises, then you can almost bet the farm that the GBP will also. However, that does not mean the the Euro will rise just because the GBP does.

Significant risk event for tomorrow...

Italian 10 Year bond auction.

If it goes okay, then status quo. If it goes badly, then two things will happen.

1. The Euro will drop further... probably much further.
2. The rumor mill will start up again and things could get whippy. Don't be surprised if the first rumor is that the ECB is buying Italian and Spanish bonds.

The auction results should be released around 09:00 GMT

My shorts got taken out,holding long positions.
We need a retrace to 126200,
The small frys like most off us would be thinking it will zoom up from these levels surely.
Shorting under 125000,or holding longs an blowing my account.

Thinking cap is on,market is doing the opposite to what I had mapped out again.

In a well planned trade, there should be no opposite because a good plan should cover both possibilities. True?

Well you already missed todays move. So wait for a retrace and try again. You just cannot sell when the market is near support 1.25 and has already moved down 70 pips for the day.

I was cautious even shorting at 2570 because it's not exactly a very strong resistance area like 1.262.

the only reason I did so is because we had already rallied a decent amount. and imo we were exhausted to the upside. unfortunately i only have 5% of this short still holding, as I like to take profit before the market takes it back from me.

hopefully we get profit taking into this weekend (end of month), and consolidate a bit above 1.25 until we have further direction.
An opportunity lost is not a capital cost.
