Now that's a doji, good for my long actually. Rumor send it down, ECB kick it back up.

Add: Well that would work if ppl trust ECB, we'll see how credible is ECB.

Well, lately I met a trader on another forum, she trade gold. Her profit is better than me while the risk she trade is somewhat similar. This month I am testing the water on gold. So far I found that gold movement is less random compared to fibre, it is easier to predict direction on gold. Another interesting thing that I found is your SL naturally will be smaller.

I also found that most broker let us trade commodities on our standard account. It might be worth to look how gold movement, not as reference but actually trade it. If you are not sure just try to trade it in demo or live account with smaller size. PA works very well explaining its movement.

I find gold way tougher... your SL is always hunted its more manipulated market than you think (google GATA)... Oil is the toughest... move on to these when you have some skill otherwise stay away.

golds trends way more then currencies. so profit will be bigger faster using same lotsize. however if your on the wrong side, you could lose a lot fast.

also gold hits a lot on your margin as well. so be carefull.

Are you a fundie or a techie?

Gold is very driven by fundamentals and you will need to incorporate that into your plan. If not, you can play with the AUD/USD first as it is correlated to gold.
