London. Usually London and US sets the direction.

Look for just 1 breakout and call it a day.

Wondering if this up move has legs.Just can't quiet understand.Greece,Spain in shambles and still going up.

I don't feel comftorable going long this pair, especially at 1.26. Maybe on a clear break of 1.262, I will long with a tight stop below 1.262. But still, the resistance is so close, that I see any longs as quite risky trades.

With low volume today, I don't really see how we are going to push much higher.

London has its own interest at stake in seeing a viable Euro, in the short term, (see English interests, Lloyds of London, etc.)...so I guess we can watch this artificially inflate for the next few hours

Might be a big HF try to swell the price, something similar to the franky bait.

It probably has. Greek polls show pro-bailout and pro-austerity parties with potentially enough seats to form a coalition government after the Greek elections should things remain this way.

European summit also has decent progress and concrete plans from both pro-austerity and pro-growth nations to stabilize the Euro. Though it remains to be seen how they will compromise but it looks promising.

You may have entered a tad too early, should have waited for London to open and decide whether it wants to buy the positive news out of Europe or just remain bearish on Europe.

Funny how USD rallies MUCH more often in London than it does in NY, if they have an interest in seeing a viable Euro. I think people more have an interest of not seeing their currency savings devalued.

As far as I know BIS actively engages itself in the London Session...not the NY Session (could be wrong though)

so many banks holiday, today is going to be a slow day
2 days were already off and now a third day...so called 24/7 trading pfff...

this this is not falling atm reversal on 5min....
today look for a short entry

Dax opened over because of the gap up, it's correlated imo. My outlook is still bearish, but my shorts are on a tight sl (~30 pips each). My guess is we'll be tapping 1.25 yet again today.

And yes, it's a guess, given the fundamentals yet. A surge in a poll is not enough for me.

LE : technically, the ony TF's we're over the 200SMA is 1min and 5min, the rest are under, and 30min is a bit under it, might tap and reverse at 1.2610-1.2615. So, eyes peeled, both technically and fundamentally.

i was actually thinking this weekend t hat if FX were anything more than 24/5, i would probably have to quit trading altogether.

i stare at these charts 8-12 hours a day full time, then i always have my laptop with me during NZ and Asia hours and glance over at it every 5-10 minutes,

No. I closed that long. But waiting for trend reversal, maybe second week of June gives indication. No higher high on daily yet. But 4H giving a sign of trend reversal.

But it actually is 24/7... Only retail traders have it 24/5.

possible short entry coming up if we break 900 and hold...
price will go to test the break of 1.25596 and give a run for the gap...looks highly unlikely it will go for the gap given no one is running the show today ...
on the other side break of 1.26019 and we are up to 158ish
