that was quite a sudden move down. Seems like that was a stop hunt of the bulls.

1.2500 will be a tough nut but it's been done before. Time will tell.
Not sure what is driving this. BIS was on the bid earlier. Perhaps they just said "F**k it!!!"

Some news out of Catalonia. Catalan President says it needs help! They are running out of debt financing options.

Its easy to trade when you move markets

ANd where is brokers business here? - you hold massively leveraged possitions for weeks for a miserable 2.5 pips?

May well have been stop hund PT, but also the 23.6 fib level on this last leg down on the 4hr sits right at the 1.2585 level and the abortive corrective rally hit significant resistance here...so looks like a sharp shake out probe back to the fib zero before another attempt upward..........

Yes correct. Barrier option there too. Further below, loads of exotics around and below 2420

If 2500 breaks, then 2450 doesn't stand a chance

So now it is a matter of who goes bankrupt first. The Euro Bears or the hedgies who are defending the barrier

Germany will not roll over on the EB issue. They like the privilege of low borrowing costs. They will never give that up unless there is a total fiscal union, and that will only happen if Germany has control of the chequebook.

Stupid question - again.... Why will 1.2500 be a tough nut to break. I've looked at my charts (face now blue) and I can't see anything particularly special about that exact price. Or is it because it's a whole decimal?

It's because there is a large barrier option at that price. Barrier options do not show on the charts

haha Go for it, but don't come crying later. Your broker's price feed may not properly reflect true tier 1 market price.
