I am with FXCM. They are not ECN but they have great feeds and no order desk. Trades are direct to liquidity provider. FXCM makes money only on spreads. That is why spread on E/U is 2.5 pips

I am not doing anything today. I have already placed a sell limit order at 1.2640 as a position trade for further downside unless the political and economic climate of the EuroZone changes.

FXCM is not an ECN broker and they do offer some CFDs. That is what the equity indices in FXCM platform are.

ADD: If a broker is not licensed with their local Financial Services Authority, or some other authority which governs trading of futures contracts, it is illegal for them to offer CFD. Be cautious when dealing with a broker that is not licensed. (Also know as BucketShop)

what a horrible night. Wake up at 12 midnight and sit here without trade. Waiting to goes above 1.2605 to get ready to short but no trade done. Price drop again. What time did NY session start on FX market? Sun going to rise soon and I can hear bird singing already.

NY session starts at 8:00am Eastern and stock markets open at 9:30am Eastern.

Okay good. Over here we stop for traffic lights, but most drivers don't use indicators, they don't know what the lines on the road mean and a Stop sign for them is only a suggestion.

I can believe what i am watching, a count? Looking to sell on 1.262, 1.265 or 1.268, if there is not finish, could be 3 waves...

Why not some commision based broker (lets say InteractiveBrokers) that has more instruments to trade/monitor and (maybe) gives more precise tick data?

A bounce from 1.2550 to 1.2640 would be nice.

Interactive Brokers has a max leverage of 50:1

I also like trading on the MT4 platform. IB doesn't have that, although they do allow APIs but I prefer a broker with MT4 directly integrated with their back office.
