Isnt that what I was talking about?? If Greece defaults you have a mess, if other PIIGS join them, then what?? From what I understand a complete meltdown was just averted a couple of months ago without a Greek default, imagine what will happen if it does. French banks may survive a Greek default but if another country also defaults then it has no chance and then ........................... For price to go up long term it has to have a reason. A major loan default is not a good reason for price to go up. There might be a happy bounce of Yeah its over by those who dont understand what has happened but until the defaults are cleaned up I dont see the euro sustaining a rally.

Last week you emphasized that the WS3 was a limit for you in making trades. For most pairs, it was hard to see a significant break below that level.

What about the monthly S3? Right now, the EU is below it. Can it continue down?

Yes, super news stories or strong fundamentals always overide indicators. We are having one of those times right now. I have my sells in place and the only thing you need to fear are the euro bull elephants. But I think right now they know it is not a good time to enter the market in favor of the Euro. If they do that means there is some back door political deal in place. Anyway that is what I think, whatever that is worth.

I am doing report cards and watching my trades like they are at the starting gate of a big race. My account shows -.86 cents so I think my trades are set just right for the USA open. On your marks, get set, and make sure you obey the slope direction on my daily charts. LOL

Bob, have you seen the Shelley EA on Steve's forum? It opens up a basket of trades at the start of the London session for any pair that is above .08 or below -.08 on the daily and then shut's all of them when they reach a total of 400 pips together. Amazing to watch it hit the target in under an hour. It was a big WTF moment today watching it in action lol.

I was reading about it on the forum. It seems to trigger on +0.8/-0.8 on the "D1 slope". Do you know which line they are talking about?

I perused it but I just dont have the time right now to do much of anything. Report cards, end of year program, school closing, taking care of teachers, etc. I have about 10 more days of this and then summer vacation.

I took 2 trades before london. GBPUSD and AUDUSD.

I entered AU at the cross of the MA beyond the S1 and got stopped out for -80 pips just now

I entered GU at the cross of the S1 and exit with -64 pips loss.

Getting our butts kicked is part of the game.

I've stopped using close stops because of this. If it hits the 4H MA now are you going to enter short again? Don't forget we are still in a big downtrend so gotta let the trade breath

I had mentioned that yesterday that something big is cooking so we initially got 70 pips move. Whats next? I don't know but surely not trading this one.

Was planning to put buy order above resistance and sell below support for this kind of move but rejected the idea on your advice. Being conservative is good so no regrets there. Thanks

As long as the D1 trend (TMA slope is >= .08 or <= -.08), i maintain SL very loose. If you recall at the beginning of this week many of us were in the red big time, but those of us who didn't get SL recovered and end up making some pips on ALL those negative trades.
