What is going to beautiful this time, that I didnt have back in 2008 was the slope indicator will give you an idea of how bad and powerful these movements will be. I know of no other indicator that will do that. Sure wish I had this thing back then. We will know by its angle exactly which currencies are being used the most as safe havens and will probably run the longest. If the euro has a happy news time, we will know how strong the move really is. I love this indi and what it is about to tell me.

I've noticed that the 4H 5.1 (Blue) MA touch seems to work best if:

For a SHORT the blue MA is above the green and maroon MA's.
For a LONG the blue MA is below the green and maroon MA's.

I'm thinking it might be best to wait for this to happen before setting the EA. Let me know what you think, cheers.

Yes when you put the sell EA on and price is below the line it will enter. You are suppose to put the sell EA on when price is above the line so it will enter when price goes below the line. Close the trade and wait for a good entrance point. Other wise use the pending trades feature within MT4

Normally that is true and best. Sometimes though if I want to play the break of a S/R/Pivot line and one of the MA lines is below the point I want to enter then I will use whatever line is available.

The other determining factor is if the blue line keeps getting touched by price action then I will choose the green line or even the maroon line.

If I dont find the configuration on the 4H I will go to lower TF until I find it. I did that with the gbp/jpy trade the other day. I think I found it on the 15M chart so I used that TF to enter my trade but I do not do that very often.

Has anyone downloaded the newest update from IBFX which we all must use by June 1 and used it. Are there any issues? I wont get to it until next week because of my work schedule.

I wouldnt do that. The CHF is probably the most manipulated currency on the market right now and is not following fundamentals, indicators or news stories. The SNB has pegged the price and it is not going anywhere until they say so. So put eur/chf on a blank screen with your mptm and iexposure indi and put it to bed for now.
Also put SteveH TMA slope display indi on it

You are right in saying that, at this point all eyes are on the last 4 teams running for the eastern conference title. I am from South Florida and of course we are with the Miami HEAT.

Hello, everyone.

As I am learning how to read the chart and how to plan the trade. I would like to show you what I can see and what I am going to to do with it. I would appreciate if you could share your trading plan, so that I can learn more.

The attachment is AUS/USD pair on 4 hour chart. What I can see is that Daily chart shows a strong downtrend, though TMA slope has started flattening but still lower than -0.8 area. (-1.30 on Alpari UK).

So, I believe I need to plan "Sell".

TMA slope on 4 hour chart is now within -0.8, which indicates that the range will on the way (am I right?). and 3 MAs are flat.

So, I need to wait for some retracement before placing a sell order.
I drew fib and I see a confluence of .618 level and Weekly open area or .318 level & round number & S/R level & WmS. This is the area I would like to look for entry.

If TMA slope remains below 0 line and starting to move south and break one of MAs, prepare to enter sell.

What do you think? Am I reading the chart right? Any comment and advice would be appreciated.

Yes ideally you want a rally first but the aud has been dropping so hard and fast that rallies are few and far. So a pending below the S line is also a good way to enter. If you get the rally great, if not a pending order can also be used.

The Greek thing is heating up again. If it becomes big news expect a run up on USD as being the safe currency, CHF making sure no one uses it as a safe currency, Euro to dive some more, and GBP???? I dont know.

What is the best version of tma slope to use ? I get the following error : "unknown subwindow number -1 for objectcreate function" in '10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30' .
Also, The log file in the experts folder gets bigger and bigger at a fast rate. All these error messages are posted in there.

Does anybody know something.

PS: I found out that the creation of the labels in the program takes place inside the 'for-loop'. This creates a lot of unnecessary printlines in the logfile. However, it does not influence the correct behavior and the correct calculations of the program. SO, you can safely use it, allthough it takes some more calculations at startup time.
