The best way imo to get out of the hedge is if you have a buy order losing and a sell order wining what you can do is this :

you need to close the sell order and wait for retracement , You need to close the sell order at strong support, To find those supports you need to learn fib and fib expansions , The best way is to read Dinapoli book ..
For example you draw a fib expansions and you see the market approaching the 1.618 , You need to put the TP above it and the sell stop bellow it , It will retrace almost 80% a times, And then you draw another fib to find where the market will stop , after that you open another sell and close it at fib retracement .
It's hard and takes time , but you will get out with profit even if you close the buy order in losing .

If you can't buy the book , at least read Sive Morten analyses at forexprecearmy and study "Forex Military School " It's 100%.

sorry about trade bro, but a. is not greece, is spain B. no stop loss is suicide, friendly advice rather than none, try automatic 50 sl will leave room and limit loss, is best to research each sl and give it as much protection as possible tho,
agree with tom, to many was calling longs yesterday I getted tired of it and go to bed.
It was good support, but very little confirmation of rally, I did sugest buyers sit on hands and be patient, not much else can do

Right Mike, mate I am not jumping on you in any way but this is exactly what I meant in my first post about your chart, you could do 100 pips today alone from your analisys and yet you didn't do it. I could too easy but decided to grap what I could when ping pong started and would never thought of that drop especially near NY close.
Long story short - trading is difficult and we all make mistakes, you trade your plan which was good btw, but let the others make their decisions and never bash them if they back it up with a reasonable explenation at present time.
Post some charts in the future we are all here to learn

I had to go out when price was close to 1.2710 and I thought, heeeeeh, it's only 2 hours, NY nearly closed...

Usually instead of SL I make oposite (hedge) position shifting my BE up or down.
This time I couldn't do anything, watching only falling price on my mobile

My view on EUJP after entering 2 shorts and holding is quite risky but hopefuly if it works out then its good pips. I see the following possibilities on h1 bearing in mind the overall trend is possibly bearish although requires the next h4 and daily to close to substantiate this.

Right now I find 55ma at 101.41 as supporting this pair in the short term. Should this not hold (and quite possible it may not as there was a clear shooting star on h1 earlier as well as a pinbar on h4 that bucked the bullish trend) then I see the pair headed towards 100.95 as the 61.8 retracement for the recent bullish move. Closing below that seeing it go down some more before wednesday.... Otherwise if that holds then expecting a bounce towards 102.205 h4 and opening way towards 104.

But thats all tentative... I should possibly jst take profit now. Would add though eurocrisis and all the shorts against euro... perhaps best to let things run their course.

there are many they all have to start gel ing
eg I watch 6 prs 5 sync 1 contrarian, when they truely in sync is awesome, however 1 pair reacting to S&R etc means nothing 2pr I start to take notice 3pr I looking for entires, is work in reverse to , if 5 are falling swissy going up, Inot so much concern levels specifically, I watch co relations as above, 1 pr react i not too worry, 2 pr will look to pb, 3 pr looking to micromanage sl etc, 4 pr looking to close out etc

I a little different, entry and exit normally most important befroe enter trade, then calculate sl according to r/r I more interest getting best entry with adequate sl then micromanage as per what other ladies is doing, like right now is reactions to various bottom signals, however for say kiwi, I have monthly target 74 - 75 she is very close to gap - origin 7305 to 7492
25 11 2011. there is possability her might try to close, I watching, as it corresponds with my monthly targets, if she close I happiest if she dosnt I still happy may open 8181 ish you do maths
other ladies similar except geppy she been a trollop, but always wary her with boj lurking,

If you not going manage trade is better to close or set protection against loss
Trading is not get green pip, is more about not get red pip, focus on account protection and not account size will be help you

But keep in mind this drop was driven by fundamentals and no line on the chart will hold this up without good news from Europe(or a full QE from the FED). I don't see anything of that nature at the moment.. From s/r point of view, it still needs to drop a little lower than the last low.. at least.. I am not looking at this as being the bottom.. Besides the higher trend is still down, weekly and monthly I mean.

If it is going down a bit (in my favor), it should stoop at 100.61 and bounce back to 100.50 at least, but it is only my analyse at this hour. I have buy limit at that level and tp for current position. Indeed a SS was formed and that's why we are where we are now.

sorry about little woohoo just little excited to be here, wouldnt expect much more for bears, is unclosed gap 25 11 2011 origin 7387 - 7492 so 7492 next minor support, is worth noting her bulls in 7400 - 7500 range was strong, the rejection from 7387 was very strong, so now have achieved 1st target will be start squeezing all ladies, and reverting to scalping until after budget tomorrow.
if swissy breaks 95 is game back on for ladies bears, what a lovely month of "May"

I think for that ot happen it has to break 100.9 first... target 300pips for this week will be good. Had 50 pip losses in the morning.

whats made eu drop 100 pip after London ? any downgrade other than japan ?
