A visbile support at 1.2700 and a visible resistance at 1.2800.

No longs until it forms a bottom near 1.2700. Shorts OK with sl above 1.2800 but a spike can knock out that sl.

Reached 2720. Just have to play s/r now. Kind of late in the day now, but my next downside target is 2697. Might not get there today, and of course 2750 should provide decent resistance to any further upside.

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - After closing above 1.28 during Monday's NA session, EUR has retraced these gains and is entering now trading around 1.2745, down 0.6% on the day. According to Camilla Sutton, analyst at Scotiabank, "the weakness came on the back of a downgraded OECD growth forecast, news that the IIF believes loan losses from Spain could range between €218 and €260bn".

Technically speaking, "EUR is flirting with a break of its decade long trend line (off its Jul 2001 low)", said the analyst. "Considering the news flow and market fears, we expect EUR to trend lower, closing the year at 1.25; however the currency avoids collapse as the threat of QE3, repatriation flows, the value inherent in Germany help to stabilize the currency".

Long term pendulum movement in time 12-6 is backward of 6-12, so EURUSD should go long (main direction). Short term new original growing fractal after drop has grown and 50% level is supported by bulls.
