I guess this chart answers one of my previous questions. That is, the fib is started from a high that is not the high right before the retracement. does this mean the fib can be started from any previous high or low depending on an up/down move. and also does the fib have to start from the trendline or can it be drawn from a high/low that is not on the trendline? Take another look at this first chart Dra and please help me understand this. You are saying that when PA breaks a trendline you must wait for a HH or LL to confirm the trend change and not trade off the next bounce on the other side of trendline until you have this confirmation. If this is true, sometimes in the thread many traders are not following this rule as they take trades right after a break and bounce off of backside of trendline. Please clarify this for me as i may be talking about two different things but it seems to me that I am getting instruction that is contradictory. Thanks Dra, sorry for my confusion, but I really want to be clear and learn this strategy well. msn

I think I am beginning to understand the difference. The first break of the trendline is up and would be a new trend requiring confirmation by way of a HH while the second break brings price action back in line with the earlier trend and a continuation of that trend. this would not require further confirmation by way of a LL. Is this correct. I think I get it now. This has been something I had a good deal of trouble understanding. I hope I am right. Please confirm. Thanks Dra, msn
P.S. Do you trade during london and new york hours? I live in California so it is difficult for me to trade during these hours but i think it might be more profitable.

Thats one of the hardest part but in time you should be consisitent if you put in the work to get better....

Yes, I am getting better thanks to you. one more question Dra, if the reversal candle is an engulfing candle, does it have to be the opposite color of the one before it. In other words, if the one before it is being engulfed by the reversal candle but the one before the reversal is the same color (bearish or bullish) is it still a valid entry candle? Yes it is, once the candle youre entering after is an engulfing..........
