I am testing the jump +10 so when it hits 35 TP moves to 20 and so on. Dont think that would work when price is moving all over but today looks like if you can eke out a 25pip profit you are doing good.

It would be tempting but I dont see it going anywhere today if you did. Wrong time of day with the eur and gbp sessions closing up.

I have loaded EA's, 5.1, 5.3 & 5.5 onto various charts but they do not seem to be opening any trades. Here are the steps I take:
1. I drag the EA to the currency
2. I set it to "Sell Only or Buy Only"
3. I set the TP to 10 pips
4. The I hit OK
Can someone please tell me if I need to do something else. It shows in the upper right corner of my currency but nothing seems to be happening.

OK I have a related question given that I have basically no experience using EA's for trades.

If I set up the EA's on a chart for a pair (say the EU). Will it still make the trade even if I am not looking at that chart? Say I'm looking at the EJ instead.

I have read all the booklets but do not see the subject broached - so I need the answer also. If away from computer a lot do I need to use a different EA?

It looks great!! Could you add a time line on it so we could print it out & keep track of what works the best? I of course would need to change the colors to print.

My suspicion is that it will not execute the trade unless it is the active chart. There are other EA's I use and I note that they have to be updated when I bring up the chart (i.e., they are not running in the background).

It will work on the attached chart as long as it is on the correct TF. If you want it to trigger off the H4 MA then you must use the EA on the H4 chart etc.

You can be looking at another chart while you wait for the trigger and it will still work. Your MT4 must be connected for it to work.

I had a similar problem I had to change the lot size from the base amount of .01 to .1 because my platform does not support micro lots - maybe if your in the same position that will work for you also

So you are basically saying that it will execute the trade in the background, as long as the TF is correct.

I found it quite difficult to have a good tranding manager setup. Anyone could upload the .set file for my reference ?

Correct. So if the EA is set to run on EURUSD and you are looking at an GBPCHF chart when it triggers, it will still trigger the trade.
