It's going to have to make a higher high and fail on a retest of the low before I would consider a long here. Until then, I'm looking for opportunities to sell.
As i've stated before i'm talking intraday. Always. Longer term it's still bearish as long as it stays below 1.0040 (but that's all dependant on fundamentals so it's pretty much guesswork and can go either way; the reason I don't trade long term).

I think the FOMC meeting tonight will give us a better insight for the short term direction of the aussie...

aussie keep hitting the higher high for today... the currency strength meter shows aud stronger than usd right now...

couldnt resis, took long for 47, holding another 9938 @ +1 better get some sleep now, hope' for good news and 100 pip suprise

Check out the basing pattern on the Aussie/CAD.
Then look at the bounce off the S/R line on the Canadian dollar.
Would much rather be long USD/CAD than short AUD/USD at this time.

Dont know what was that big drop for, but it retraced off the lows....

I think the recent bounce should go atleast till 0.9990, then pullback then head up towards 1.01xxx area...

All the above will happen only if we are starting a new uptrend....

That recent low was because eur/usd. "ECB stops monetary operations to some Greek banks"; unexpected news...traders panicked and sold euro buying dollar.

Simple. Nobody could predict it. Aud technically still uptrend intraday.

Yes but long term downtrend

We need to see 0.9860 to determine if we knock out a bottom there or go lower.

My stupid guess (yes, I know I am ):

1. down to 9900
2. up to 1.0050
3. down to 9770-9830, end of bloodbath (minor wave V of 1)
4. up to 650 (major wave 2, will be 3 subwaves)
5. down to 92 (major wave 3)
