My personal view is that 5% is in the very least aggressive and 10% insane, regardless of strategy. But if you've got examples of where 10% risk is acceptable then I'm all ears.

Bearish trend->consolidation->breakout D1 TF if you know what you are doing it is worth even 20% I am talking about rallies which last for a month or two not scalping for 15 pips Look at GBP/AUD on W1 TF this is a perfect carry trade in the making. I am waiting for signal atm and willing to sacrifice 20% for a coming drop. It is not gambling - it is a calculated risk I am willing to take.

yes brit news was all bs

buyer only, in bull market is very very nice, same seller only bear market, zones work for both bull and bear, put up 200 sma this is trend, any tf, trend is down enter in zone sl above and be patient, is up, do opposite

your bull finger should be nice and rested, kneejerk, remind me of when I started, is whole body is jerked every single trade, jerked really bad when pa go against me, was even worse when went my way, couldnt win either way, started to sleep with whole body jerking, wife thought was getting frisky, but no was sound asleep twitching, no twitch now, and new wifes, life is much better

For all my intraday trades, my risk is between 0.5-1%, for long term trades 3-5%

Yes, correct. The trading and percentage of investing money is based on the strategy. So for example it's totaly different if you just scalp to take some pips, or you are going long..
For scalping i did take 5-10% of my trading money...and for longer positions about 2-3%...however...also this is too much, because the risk is higher and sometimes you are getting very close to the SL.

The pressure rises and this is not good for health your account.

well i m underwater but i will get out of this somehow . there should be a small pullback 1.277 where i get out of the longs the target is 1.2620 where i think it will give us good pullback . we ll see if it will work . good luck to everyone and trade carefully

Market dropped down further (strong momentum) yesterday and today and found some support at the 100 % fib extension from a-b at c at about 1.2706, daily S1 and the gaps from January 2012 in this zone. The "overnight" consolidation took place at the 100 % fib extension from d-b at c. Recently, market found some resistance at the 20 SMA (red circle) and the "overnight" consolidation at about 1.2729.

The classical daily Head & Shoulder target analysed in EUR/USD Market Analysis (15.05.12) stands at about 1.255 and if market reach it then it would take out the stops placed under the January 2012 low and the August 2010 low.

Dont you think is a time to buy eur on crazzy market speculational basis, because election will be after mounth?

Six sence tell me that some big market partisipats will try to risk.

Maybe not, but euro drop 550 pips. prety low to buy.
