Yup, this is what I did today, was feeling too tired to trade so logged off before the big move.

I'm going to move to Europe one of these days so I can finally trade normal hours and not have to stay up all damn night.

1.2760/70, 78.6 fib PT?


edit: just wanted to point out how a down trend break becomes support, trendlines are just so important

and this is a demo account by the way (that is not a live long just something i was messing around with in demo), with a different brokerage, the mt4 with IBFX is just so much better than the one my brokerage offers

My story is some different. Since I returned to forex on feb first is something like this: 10, 2, -8, -13, 0, 20, 40, 20, 10 right now

Just woke up from a much needed nap. Doesn't look like my Buy limit at 1.28 hit. PA didn't move much. I'm moving it down to 1.2780 area. I don't think we go down much from here without seeing some sort of rally. Even if it's a small one. Buy limit with tight SL for a small correction. If it doesn't trigger and we just go up from here, it will just be an opportunity to get into another short position.

Agree, looks like a pop higher is due. 1 hour chart candles looking good at this level.

Almost tried a long at 1.2835 but they gobbled it up too quickly

With the move today this was the winner count. Using Fib, typical targets with more probatilities for a turn for this setup should be: 1.281, 1.280, or 1,273, but dont discard a lower target.

Gotcha!

Well, most of my long term trading revolves around Moving Averages and I use a particular set of parameters to determine whether or not I enter a trade. Then, depending on which pair I am trading will determine what stop loss / take profit I set.

My short term trading is a little different: The indicators I use are Moving Averages & K Line.

I will try and post a few charts later today which will give a visual of my chart. My two indicators are custom indicators as well as custom parameters.

By the way, I wanted to say Thank You for everything you are doing here on the EurAnalysis thread! It is very appreciated!

Pips or pipettes?

That's very impressive no matter how much leverage you were trading. Most people couldn't do that on a demo account.

What's the latest situation with Greece? I read that Syriza said no to a technocratic gov't but also read another article that says there was a glimmer of hope a gov't would be formed tomorrow. Talk about conflicting info. Does anyone have some viable info?

You read it correctly but your interpretation that it is conflicting is incorrect.

The Zyriza party supports an "all party" (except the Golden Dawn party) government but not a technocratic one.

OK. So all three parties are in? Is this the only holdup? What about the demands re: the support of the austerity fiscal pact measures?
