1.2860, check the support from January 2011. Yeah it was breached last time when we went to 1.2624, but its still decent support.

EUR/USD touch firmer on the headlines, presently at 1.2873 from session low 1.2861.

UPDATE: Syriza statement says “Syriza’s leader does not intend to participate in selective meetings with political leaders summoned by the Greek president”

“However he is at the president’s disposal to meet him either on an individual basis or meet with all parliamentary parties, with the exception of Golden Dawn”

What a load of happy horseshit…..

Time for these people to get a grip.

In my many years of trading, I have always stayed away from contra trades. My reasoning is that there are far too many in-trend opportunities to take advantage of with much less associated risk. Of course scalping is a totally different dog.

I honestly could just tell, they kept stop hunting lower by 2 pips throughout 2870 and 2860, very slowly inching it down to an even number like 28600. It took so long to get down there because of the bids that came in before 28600. IMO.


Got out for +16 and went short, but sold the short for +3, definitely did not expect a retrace back down to the lows.

Or perhaps just temporary shorts by big money, driving the price back down so they can get their share at 2860ish. Thats kind of what I think it is... but we could go to 1.281 like PT thinks I just dont think we will today.

completely agree, its very stupid and poor risk reward most of the time

just look how much easier it is to go short (going with the trend), everyone scalps short. easy pips if you short exactly on this trendline, although the reward is not very great, so use low leverage and just do this to keep yourself occupied

Might take some high impact news or some politician to start yapping to move the market. There isn't any fundies coming out the rest of the day. Guess we have to keep an eye on what transpire with the meeting in Greece. Being patient is really hard for someone with ADHD.

That's not what the bond yields are suggesting. Mind you, things could change, but I go with what I see now.

True, its only 50 pips away. Market has to go somewhere and there is no reason for it to go up, other than the fact that it hasn't really done any ebb and flow

Don't worry about your ADHD problem. There are many people out there with far bigger problems than that

Actually we did get ebb and flow today but it was more like ripples. Most likely the calm before the storm.

Always keep in mind I don't know what I'm talking about. But if you like my charts, thats great too.

There has been a major change in the algorithm I use. I will take the time to explain it sometime later on, if anyone is interested. But the new one is very good imo, because the stop losses are twice as tight as before (in general)

Yeah when I see action like that I know the market is exhausted, or waiting for something like major news... but yeah I meant over the last two weeks there hasn't been much ebb and flow, today it hasn't been bad, just poor range
