I've got "gap" on my chart as well
Simply if your broker "didn't find" buyers at this price, there is a gap...
The bigger broker, the bigger liquidity and less probability of gap holes..

Hmm. Thanks. I thought my broker was big. Would you recommend a good broker with the large liquidity? Maybe time to diversify.

Oh, no worries, buddy. It doesn't happen too often.
It's so rare... Only spikes on NEWS may do tricks like that.
If all works well during "normal" trading hours, stay where you are,,,

Are you missing the entire bar? If so, try refresh the chart.
If you are using MT4, right click on the chart and select refresh from the popup menu.

ADD: I use FXCM UK and I have no gaps or missing bars

hello harpe, that was a good catch. If it was g/u or e/u i would of been on it lol.. I am doing fine. i am currently concreting my patio in the sun. My early trades went in and i just made 10 pips x3=30 on g/u and i am on e/u hopefully it'll drop a few more pips then i'm out lol

Yes I have done that. Thanks though. I should really check into diversifying though. Same broker last week when I closed out of my E/U position, it closed me out at 40 pips under ask price quote. I had to fill out a complaint and they said it was a technical glitch. Made me whole again 2 days later. B.S Glad I'm on top of ALL my trades.

One good thing about FXCM is that they got their knuckles rapped hard about a year ago regarding slippage on pending limits and stops. So now they automatically reimburse slippage against you. Any slippage in your favor is yours to keep Imagine... you don't even have to file a complaint.

Any problems with payouts/wires and all? I just remember reading so many horror stories about them a year or so ago.

The only issue I ever encountered with them is that they were a bit slow to effect deposit and withdrawal requests. As an example, if I request a withdrawal today, it will be late Tuesday before they take it out of my account, but once I see that, I can count on seeing it in my bank the next day.

Same in reverse too, but it's been ages since I sent them money. The last time (about two years ago) I sent the wire electronically from my online banking via an IBAN transfer on a Monday and it didn't show up in my trading account till Friday morning. However, one time I made a credit card deposit and it was in the very next day.

According to their website now, they have improved the deposit procedure. Any credit card deposits are processed immediately (within a few hours) and bank wires are processed within 2 working days. Unfortunately withdrawal requests still take long. I suspect it is because the request has to be authorized by security as part of their fraud prevention and anti-money laundering policies.

So France, Italy and Spain would likely be downgraded if Greece left the euro… That’d leave a mark…

i hope we get a hint of positive news first so i can stop being a patient bear then downgrade the crap out of em!
