I shorted just below 16000 thinking it would retrace 50 pips but it kept going on and on and on.
ended cutting my losses at 70+ pips.
I made a promise not to touch that pair again.
it was announced that the UK had slipped back in recession and the cable kept going up.

i sell 0.3 lots today in GBPUSD at 1.6189, if continue going up i will sell 0.6 lots at 1.6260 and 1 lot at 1.63

ny exchange closes at 4 pm. we get a daily roll at 5 pm. thin market to place a new trade.

GU needs to break 1.6060 for you to make a chance and I don't see that happen. If you stay in it, that's counter productive.
It keep you from better trades and paralizes you.
I shorted at 1.6152 today and went to dinner,so guess u know what happened after. Mate do u think it'll have a chance to get down ? Cause I see from the chart it ll go up a lot in this week

I would take killerwhale's advice & get out of that trade NOW! - It will ruin your account - still strong uptrend & shows no sign of slowing down. You have to control your losses to have any chance of success in this game..

GBPUSD broke the 4 month high! And this pair is famous for trending in my opinion. I bought it on the break and im up 80 pips at this current moment. Sold some EURUSD today too for my longer term trading.

after market closes, let the price do whatever it does. around london open, it usually gives you a clue or a setup. long or short. without a proper setup, no trade, at least for me.

Its stalled at the mo.
im 5 pips in green on both positions will close till morning. don't really like to trade when the algobots are in control

I should have cut my losse this morning, i had a short from friday that was 35 pips in green when i woke up at around 1am - Half drunk - but been greedy and went back to bed only to see it gone back up- i am not losing from my fills because i always move my SL to BE on all of the fills once they go to green but the orriginal short at 6028 is in bad condition now. i am going to wait today till Japan before i make up my mind. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

The buy limits which triggered at non existent prices on asia open. I chatted with FXDD guy and had long orguement. He refused to reverse the positions but said I can email customer service manager.

Can I post this transcript of my talks here ? May be will be useful to guys here. But I am not sure moderators will disallow, b'cos it is about a broker.
