I picked two trades with Your tool today.. one is AUDUSD sell below 1.0200 and other AUDNZD buy above 1.2800... using Your 4 H screen and my Daily priceaction naked chart. guess this combination will give me an EDDGGE ...

NZDCHF looks pretty good for short too isnt it? jumps from Weekly Pivot down.

No will not take it... big pinbar on Daily. will look for clearer picture.

Hi Bob,you can compare with the two pictures.They are all in the same currency against the U.S. dollar against the pound in 1H.First picture shows between -0.4 and 0,then after several hours,it becomes to be above 0.4 and changes color(see the second pictres).The data is seem to be not the same with before(look at the red square).The first one shown in the figure is not to buy.But The second picture shows become buy.What is the problem?Thank you!

What you see here is the effect of ......repainting! There is a lot less of this on higher tf so you should rather use higher tf to decide to buy or sell and use lower tf only to check or confirm. I am sure Bob will correct this if I am wrong.

Anyone using this with FXCM uk? I am getting a lot of error 129 invalid price. I am not sure if this is due to slippage (but not a fast market atm) or if somewhere prices need to be normalized in the code. Is anyone else having these issues? If you are not sure, check your experts tab, that is how I realized it was happening to me in the first place.

I used to have these errors also on Alpari UK, but I found a error in the code (see post 1399 and 1400)
You need to re-download the EA's from post 1. It is fixed now.

I did that and am still getting that error with a GBPCHF buy order and GBPNZD buy order, yet other orders with other symbols have been executed no problem.

Once the EURUSD closes the gap, i will place a sell order just below the weekly pivot for a test of the lows. In addition I have a sell order placed for the EA to sell on a price falling below the fast ma.

Just took a short right below the weekly pivot for eurjpy at 104.30, SL 30 pips above pivot. First target is weekly open, second target is S1

OK. The numbers and figures of this system were built around the 4H, daily, and weekly charts. I have no experience of using this on a 1H chart. If you check your daily chart you will see that price bounced off of the Monthly pivot and on the 4H chart passed back above the weekly pivot, which would make this a buy opportunity. This then would confirm what you see on the 1H chart. So ................. hard for me to comment on 1H trades because I didnt design the system for 1H trades. Now if you saw the possibility of gbp bouncing off of the daily and passing back above the weekly pivots then dialing down to the 1H to enter the trade would have been a good idea. But my honest answer is I didnt design the system around the 1H. The slope indicator was designed to react quickly because of its use on the higher TF. So I really dont have the experience to really know if it would work there on the 1H. Over a period of time and practice maybe we will find out it will work there. The other problem we face was a bank holiday in Britain Monday and bank holiday in France Tuesday which makes the market unpredictable or better yet rather sluggish which is what we got yesterday.

My analysis on the gbp/usd is if the euro is supported then the gbp will go up with it. Right now looking at the gbp you are hitting a hourly R area so it could go up but so far it has not broken that area for the last 3 trading days. See pic below.

Good idea. What I did is use the EA on this one and using the green line EA or the 5.1 The reason I am doing that is I fear market interference by the big boys in Europe who may or may not come to support the Euro. So if they do I wont be in the trade, if they dont then I will be with you shortly. Another way to play this trade would be to put a pending under Monthly S1 on the daily chart which price bounced off of yesterday.

These are some of the discretionary things you can do to protect yourself from a losing trade, however, the logic and reasoning of your trade is still sound.

I'm a bit confused about CT and SRF trades. Specifically, I'd like to know how you guys determine when to enter the trade. The impression I get from the pivot booklet is that on an uptrend, one would place the sell trade once the resistance is crossed downwards after being crossed upwards. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

FMuir has been hard at work with updates. I think most of the issues presented will be done today and I will post an update package tonight. I have to test them during the day and then will post them later. Hopefully this will bring everything up to speed.

Hi nanningbob,

Next is my GBPUSD H1 chart. As you can see, the pivot points in my chart are rather different from your chart, this because my Broker, MIG Bank, is GMT +2 h. It would be good if indicator 10.2 weekly pivots consider the shift from GMT to we could all see the same pivot points.
