Was looking at the GU rocketing higher but it seemed to stall and drop back from no specific resistance level or maybe the GU is just fond of way overshooting. Are you playing the 1H 62 on the top targeting the previous lows on the bottom?

Exacly, I was short on the first 1h 62 touch, them closed and reverse long around 6170, and now short again, took a losing trade in the middle

Looking for the London close to push the AU into this support area at 1.0250. May be a good opportunity to get long depending on how the PA looks.

I would say it's valid until broken with a 4H close below that level. That's one of the reasons that I didn't get into a long at this level. I was looking for a strong push through 0250 with at least a 1H close above that level. There's got to be a ton of stops between 0250 and 0225 where that wick ends. If the 50 level goes, it will be key to see if it holds the 25 level.

Take a look again at this Daily chart. If this level breaks we'll see 0200 for sure and maybe even 0100. I know that fundamentals are not really a big factor on this thread but with the surprise rate cut of .5% this week, there are less reasons to be long the AU. NFP tomorrow so I have a feeling that we won't know our direction until then.

Morning all,

I was stopped out prettty quickly on my Aussie long the other day. Cable's at an interesting place on daily and 4hr- it retested the top of the channel that it broke out of acouple of weeks ago. I'm long at 38, 30 pip SL

Update: added that 1.3 back in at 34 after the 15min doji (2nd green arrow) and closed that part out here at 57 for 23 pips. Moving SL up to below previous 15min low and 35 50ma's at 29.

Not liking the hangman on 1hr at 62 ema and resistance for my long, so will close last part early to maximise pips if we get a 15 min close below rising trendline on 15min chart.

Took a short here looking for a quick retracement back to the 70 level. We'll see if this TL holds.

S/L above the 200 level.

Closing out here for a couple pips. Didn't get a strong retracement and it looks like the TL is compromised on both the 1H and 4H.

Morning all and welcome Eltax!

Cable interest rate decision today- now was yesterday just a day to shake out bulls and trap bears before a rise, or the start of a push lower? We're at the top of a 4hr channel and sitting on a daily trendline. A break out of the channel could bring a significant move, but it's a news day, so there might be a fakey..
