I also like to say already and before people starting to throw thoughts about it, that this account is not my main account, on these one i test diferent ways of trading symphonie. but please take a look.

the account link is: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/timf...ie-60-5/300748 or just follow my signature

The trade explorer isn't just for looking at how much somebody else has made or lost, its for you yourself to look back at the trades you've actually taken and review whether you should have taken them or not. Going by your trade explorer I would say, either you don't yet understand how symphonie works - rules etc or you are so pushed for time - you only seem to trade for an hour at around frankfurt/london open and then again in the evening when London is closed (neither of which are famous for being the best setups) that you would be hard pressed...

Hey, guys, I'm having trouble with all these indicators and templates. I started reading back on page 1, and am trying to put all the indicators and templates in MT4. For some reason, the Cycle Identifier won't work (do you guys still use this?). It just shows a spike in the past, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'll upload the picture.

Also, where is the Extreme Cycle Indicator in woolo's post? I can't seem to find it. It seems like that replaced the Cycle identifier from the first post.

Or did we remove the Extreme Spike Indicator? I just uploaded the template for Symphonie Matrix v3.0, there's no more trendline, and no Extreme Spike? Is this correct? How do we know when to buy or sell without the extreme spike?

Am I missing something any indicators in the template?

Hi all,

Just to confirm as it has not been mentioned in the first point we must ALWAYS exit the trade when there is an oposite extreme spike colour change on a candle close even if we are in the negative.

The first post says to exit if the PA has not got to 30 pips profit and the spike changes but do they mean when not in profit too? That would seem logical from the posts and Evals account statments with roughly a 50% win rate accounting for lots of negative closes.

I just need to have it explicitly stated that I must exit a trade when there is an oposite extreme even if I am -10 pips for example.

So have i got the right idea there about the exit rules for loosing trades?

Thanks!!

Hi Hyperspeeds,

If you go to the bottom of post 1 you will see the link to the downloads.
Put all the indicators in the experts/indicators section of your MT4 folder.

Then put all the templates into the templates folder in MT4/Templates. Not experts/templates.

Then in MT4 click on charts and templates then open.

Open one of the templates with v3.0.1 for the most up to date one.

I am experimenting with the older extreme cycle indicator on my chart because I would like to see how it worked previously.

Thanks for the reply, woolo.

I have put all indicators and templates into MT4, as of now my template is the Symphonie Matrix 3.0 I'm not sure what the rules or guidelines are right now, for buying and selling, since the visual representation of the template and indicators changed.

My first impression for a buy trade was with the Cycle Identifier was to wait for an extreme spike downward on the Cycle Identifier, and then wait for the Indicators to all signal blue. Then enter the buy trade.

Afterwards, you would wait for an extreme spike up with a magenta color indicating the upward move was hitting an extreme point and close or exit the trade.

Now with the new template, since there is no Cycle Identifier, I'm not sure how to implement this visually??

This system is definitely worth it to work on. I am trying to read through the posts. But, now with the new up to date changes, I'm trying to sift through the obsolete information. Thanks for your help, all input is appreciated.

Hmmm.. just noticed you said v.3.01. I gotta go to the grocery store now with my friends, I'm a college student but I'll look back into it when I get back.

From what I understand the overall system is as described as in Post 1.

Only the extreme spike seems to have been replaced with another extreme point detector that does not repait at all or not as frequently. It still has the same name but is Extreme Indicator V 3.0 in the indicator list. So charts now apparently do not need the extreme spike indicator.

So visually you wait for all 4 indicators to be in agreement then take the trade.

I have only recently stumbled into this thread and have seen that the method being used has been changed frequently which I do not fully understand why since the last account statement from Evaluator showed a MASSIVE % increase to an account every week. Somthing that takes me 4 months to achieve using my own system was achieved in days using this one.

I would ideally like to know exactly what motivated their trades during those trials. Was it just the rules from post one being followed or was the system only being followed when other unseen factors were taken into account.

For example there is a lot of talk about trendlines. I have used trendlines and horizontal support and resistance lines for 2 years now and built a successful real money account using them and nothing else!

Now the infomation given in post 1 says nothing about previous resistance and support, trendlines, stochastics, TRIX, Pivot Points or any other indicators which have slowly intorduced themselves into this thread.

I have interpreted Evaluators comments to mean that he has simply religiously followed the indicators to manage those trial accounts ignoring all signals from any other form of indicator, chart tool, news or gut feeling.

Most systems in this forum end up with somone saying
"Oh but there are so many factors to take into consideration that is why your trades are all loosers with this system." Or other comments after the fact that are not part of the original rules layed out.

This is somthing that has not shown up in this thread yet! Which is why I have a lot of respect for Evaluator.

So i plan to do the same in my trial. Only trade when all indicators are in agreement on a candle stick close on the 5 min timeframe.

I will not look for a trendline on 15min, 1h or 4h first. If i get a signal I will take it even if my gut and previous experience tell me otherwise. It's the only way of testing this system in a controlled scientific way. The symphonie indicator system on post 1 is my only variable. Everything else will be ignored.

Hi woolo! i like your post. thats the way that every new trader of this system should trade until they feel completly secure about the system!!!! follow the rules as Eval always said and let the pips come to you!!!!

personally i trade symphonie 60-5, just as Eval posted (link on the first page too) and that a good way for starting. Respect the current trend and the pips will come to you. Another point.... pay atention to the hours that you trade. each pair as more or less volatility diferently according to the sessions time (eg. asian, european, us)

thats just some points that i think you should have in your trading plan. thats some mistakes that i already took and cost me pips and learned it from the hard way. now i think i'm back on the track, with a lot of notes next to my screen remind me to not trust my gut, trust the system, follow the rules exactly.

i hope you the best too!!!

I thnk we will have a good week ahead of us

After reading more of in depth posts, I think I've got the jist of this system.

Buy when all signals are 4 blue.

Sell when all signals are 4 red.

Exit when 1 of the indicators turns the other direction (most conservative).

I looked at realjumper's 5 minute post about his preferences for the system and his personal strategy, and I'm going to go ahead with that.

Good luck to everyone. This is a great system! Good luck traders, and hopefully I'll reach 100% profits like you guys. This system looks fantastic and extremely simple. Thanks and respect to Evaluator making this. I'll keep reading up on the older important posts by the experienced traders of the system.

Market is opening GAP DOWN big time after Greek/French elections. Currently E/U 1.3015 on ask. Gap down under daily triple bottom/H&S pattern/triangle. Daily S2 is already hit. Should expect index futures to sell off Monday across the board. Could be a sign of further weakness and possibly head towards 1.2784 major support. Symphonie will confirm.

Definitely sell on pullback today. We are heading lower big time. Wait til European/London open. Asian market too thin. Could easily pop back up 40-50 pips very quickly.

Some say bank holiday means thin volume but big moves. Let's see.

Anyway, for your trade, i would bank in whatever i can as i too expect retracement of at least 50 pips.
