Yes, make sense. Fundamentals have great impact on PA.
What I have seen is - if these trend lines drawn correctly that can predict the impact of fundamentals on PA. You will be amazed to see that how accurately trend lines can predict future action and also can predict effect of fundamentals on PA ahead of time. The only thing is one needs to draw them correctly. There is no unique method to draw these trend lines and that's the reason these are greatly mis-understood.

Personally I leave fundamentals to banks ,v large accounts let them do the research

That's my current research topic. Someday will get the answer.

I wonder why pa respects diagonal trendlines as much as horizontal trendlines?

Horizontal trendlines are logical price levels and if pa respects them, one sees logic in this. But respecting diagonal trendlines is a bit weired.

PA's behvior of respecting diagonal trendlines indicates retraces maintain a certain constant ratio to the orginal move. Strangely this ratio remains constant over a long period of time. Even when a new trend starts, the retraces of this new trend follow the retrace ratio of some old trend.

The current retrace ratio for Eur/USD is 38% for a down trend.

You are right Chicky, and wrong at the same time....
It is impossible for young trader to follow all fundamentals and place his trades based on his conclusions. Question - how many traders lets say out of 10 people are sucessfull during news realise, three? none?
What happens in fundamentals we see on charts ergo no need to follow fundamentals in your trading at least if you are a baby in this world. I like your bits about US nobody wants to admit that especially US media.
