supply, demand zones are the holy grail all I can say that.
1. entry at the critical s/d zones saves you getting hurt by the ferocious bull or bear.
2. market is hardly going to go 50 pips against you.
3. practice makes perfect. Respect your account equity.

Here's my view
Today there was an expectation of at least a hint towards the ECB cutting rates at some point in the near future and the market was extra short on this expectation. (Not that there aren't other reasons to be short mind you)
Anyway, Draghi disappointed by staying very quiet, and where he couldn't stay quiet, he was very vague. So as a result, we got a short covering rally. Earlier today I speculated that we would get a good bounce up towards 1.3185/1.3200 area which would be quickly faded. I guess I was too optimistic coz it didn't even break 1.3180, therefore my sell limit order at 1.3185 didn't get triggered. It may still happen but chances are diminishing by the minute. As a side note (and I've mentioned this before in previous posts) I prefer to not chase a trade. If a limit order is missed by a pip or two, I usually leave it. I have found that it is a good policy.
The US Jobless claims number came in better than expected but the ISM number was a slight disappointment. This is all mixed signals for those trying to position themselves for tomorrow's NFP report. I say screw it. Benny is not going to print and it would take a hell of a lot more than a couple of weak job creation numbers to convince me otherwise. First I would have to see job losses, or a severe contraction in GDP, or both. Then and only then, I will be convinced that QE3 is a given.
So... where do we go from here? As seen below in my chart, we have not yet broken below all the key support areas. 1.3120 was nice to see broken and a good attempt was made on 1.3090. However that is not enough to call a resumption of a downtrend. Therefore, we are still officially in a multi-week consolidation. On a shorter time frame, the H1 chart is showing some bearish HD. Also retest of broken 55 ema has failed to penetrate back to the upside. Key intraday resistance is the 38.2% fibo level (approx 1.3173) on a daily close basis. If we manage to close above that level today, then I may in fact get triggered overnight or tomorrow. If not, then we'll be retesting 1.3090 area Time will tell.
