It doesn't tell you to where the price will go.. nothing will.. but will tell you where to start paying attention.. Also the movements are different for bear/bull markets.. Either way, one important idea is this.. If the rsi moves but the price doesn't and you trade with the rsi, you are on the wrong side of the market..

My guess is liquidity is drying up. Everyone spending less. The whole market moves differently than before but then again the market is always changing.

gu used to be easily 300 pips or more a day, and eu well over 200. now its like as low as 50 to 80 pips a day for eu and gu.

the only possible reason i can come up with is that the interest rates are so set in stone here in the usa.

anybody have a better explanation ?????????

indeed check back 2010 second quarter through third quarter tons of volatility average ATR 160 pips..now most are sitting on their hands. position traders check they are coming in to move the market they have loaded pretty well in think..

market expands and contracts. that's how it moves.

i dont think its the liquidity, but the market sure has changed. 300 pips a day on gu was just totally normal.

but its most all pairs have much smaller daily ranges currently, and that sure has me stumped.

it could not be more ideal for martingale bots, but that will change at some point.

Of course past years were more volatile and moves were bigger. We are not getting those kind of moves as often. I always track ATR and she is not like that now. I do agree with your last comment.

Yup have to adapt to what market can give, lots reasons really right down to less easy money about for idiots to lose, and gunslinger wanna get rich quick traders "will" lose, money frees up they pile in like lemmings, money gets tighter the quickly disappear, accounts blown, not only little retailer, but larger funds, even broker bastards.
Forex is a long slow hard business,

1st Key is account protection, must have sorted long before open account,

2nd tech knowledge and fundy knowledge, this will give understanding of raw PA, requires 1000,s of hrs screen time, this not just starte at screen, while brain making all sorts of reasonings, must learn what to look for, when it happens, and what to do with it,

3rd, Control Emotions, greed, fear, uncertainty, all need eliminate the minute station turn on, they wills destroy you emotionally and physically, destroy you and everyone around you,

Remembers Forex is not called "Crack Forex" for nothing, it is a powerful addiction, and if abused will destroy just like cocaine, capice

Finally sadly yous enemy is all other traders, and bastard brokers, you need be smarter than them, is no prisoners, makes a mistake, and they killed you

I was under impression Asian market would of carried out NY close at 3158
flatly mistaken.
There is lot more nervousness in PA.I was long but after -12pip loss closed.
The is just no confidence on longs.
I am looking closely at AU.Good place to go long.
