I think thats the best way then if somebody asks you then you can go into more detail through a PM. Ive had a few PM's asking my strategy, Im sure you will in time (IF NOT ALREADY) as you are making CONSTANT profits good on ya

weak job data means that monetary policy will remain loose to accommodate expansion through monetary policy.

the weaker the US economy the more dovish the fed will be ....so this seems to be a momentary inefficiency... perhaps a bullish signal for Eur/usd

Risk-off. Fundamentally US may be weak but based on earlier releases, EURO is weaker. That leaves investors running for cover.

First real trading day of the month with all markets open,
not wise to read to much into todays moves IMHO.

yes if all things remain equal you are correct. The problem is that BB has said in his last meeting if the job market or economy perform badly the Fed will still try and intervene. The problem is that their interest rate is already at 0.25... so question becomes, how will they help out the economy as they have stated during their last meating?... thus any bad news encourages the prospects of QEIII. We also know that markets play according to what they think will happen in the future, thus the more bad news out of US, would most likekly be seen worse on the face of it on a currency basis?

This is just my 2 cents, and I know that Feds don't want QEIII, but what else do they have in their bag of tricks?

When price is spiking all over the place it's madness to trade this sort of pa without a stop loss. Good luck on this trade but I just hope you have a good exit strategy.

I realize that but Risk off is not just a given.

Risk off means, the market will flock to the safest perceived asset, that in itself creates inefficiencies.


a couple of weeks ago or a month approximately it was a given that interest rates would be raised in the US as the economy gained traction....now it is not looking as though this is the case anymore.

USD being the most important currency in the world, it is the USD that prices the markets. So given The FED's philosophy and actions in the past.... what is the most probable outcome?

what are the implications of a loose monetary policy on the markets with negative correlation coefficiency?

before you try to put me down and whistle ....please USE YOUR BRAIN.

If I am wrong then please show me and prove me wrong but have some substance to your statements.

If you look at euro's manufacturing and compare it against US's

Yes, QE3 is something of relevant possibility but you should consider that the fact that USD is the world's biggest reserves fund, most of the world trade in USD than in EURO. Transactions at one point of time would be USD hence the biggest liquidity in it.

Taking that into view, I'm sorry but as much as I have a long position on EU, I don't see EU as the stronger economy, my long term forecast is bearish for this pair.

In my 1 year experience, I've learnt that BAD US news = Risk off GOOD US news = risk on. However risk on is subjective as it may be bigger demands for the greenback rather than it's base.
