i compound the GAIN. i do not want to risk any of my bank roll lol. This is hard to explain but if i get 20 pips i will save some of it and compound the rest, earlier today due to things happening rapidly i made more than 2o pips withsome of my 1st trades so i actually compounded more on my 2nd trades

Are you trying to say that wasn't the end of the bull trend? I'm betting that it was but we'll see.

I'm saying I doubt we go down below 3157 today, unless its much later in the day. My exhaustion indicator is almost never wrong except during FOMC or major news, then it doesn't mean anything.
Read your post again before interpreting badly mine. You posted a 4h chart, that should show you big time consolidation...when that breaks, what do you think it will happen? After all the emotions boiled in that zig-zag, what will a break bring forth? There is support at 1.3162 for a daily S1 and previous low, then at the 1.3150-30 area for a Fibonacci cluster, but those are all from a higher timeframe. I'm glad you like your exhaustion indicator, but my skepticism comes from using today and yesterday data to say THIS IS IT, WE GO BACK!!

ADD; It seems the market was expecting 10.9% so it may already be baked in to the price. However, there is no fundamental reason to buy now so it's down to technical bids only (if any).
Got my bid at 1.316 (price fell to 1.3157)

Holding for now, 1 minute is back in buy mode (8EMA crosses 5EMA), but probably wont be able to take over 1.3175

Hello fellow traders, its been a minute. I don't get to chat much these days but here's my chart... I'm looking to add to short. Pay attention to USDX. Price is at critical former support turned resistance. Break and close here and like Joe Fraiser down goes the Euro

I think we are just misunderstanding each other. I'm not saying 1.316 is the bottom and this intermediate bull trend will hold, quite the opposite actually. I guess a lot depends on NFP as well. What I was saying 1.316 was pretty much guaranteed for a bounce because the market was exhausted and 1.316 is obvious support, so i took short profit there and scalped long until I see a reason to go short again

Technicals have their rightful place in providing support and resistance levels, but fundamentals rule

I stand corrected, conviction was too strong. But we have reached another exhaustion point...

Lol I may as well remove that red trend line, we won't be needing that anymore

Edit: Actually hasn't quite reached it but close enough for me. But I'm out now. Getting some rest before NFP (230am here lol)

whats ff explorer, What i spoke about earlier is trading solely off highs and lows its easy, the tricky bit is if you lose lol you have to be strong and stick to game plan, happy trading.and the big drop again which we just saw i wasnt on it as i have made more than my quota of pips

It's very rare it doesn't bounce hard off of the exhaustion points and when it doesn't it consolidates for like an hour then moves lower again. Like I said, only times it doesn't are trend reversals (like today) and major newsflow like FOMC. Most important thing is I got short again, plus i got a +5 long scalp

i just realised something and wish to make apology, when i said 800 pips to over 1000 pips weekly, thats after i compounded it.Its like our uk government seasonally adjusting the figures lol. Perhaps instyead of saying pips i should say pounds. wayhay. happy trading
